- Joe Sutton was born in 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He died on July 16, 2020 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Starting in 1998 he hosted "Talking With Joe," on Los Angeles public radio station KYPA. The show eventually moved to the CBS-owned KLSX with the new title "The Heart of Hollywood With Joe Sutton.".
- In 1969 he launched a personal management company where he represented Neil Diamond, Ricky Nelson, Lou Rawls, O.C. Smith and David Axelrod.
