With NBA 2K17 set to release on September 20, 2K Sports has announced “The Prelude,” a free downloadable app that will let players start their ‘MyCAREER’ experience prior to the game’s official launch.
The Prelude, which is set to release on September 9, will allow players to create their own character and choose attributes such as play style and physical characteristics.
The Prelude was designed specifically to introduce new fans to our franchise, and give them an introduction to our legendary MyCAREER mode that puts the user at the center of an epic basketball story,” said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts. “Veterans of NBA 2K will also love getting a head start on their MyCAREER, so when the game launches they can be ready to jump in and compete.
During “The Prelude”, players will watch their draft stock fluctuate dynamically based on their performance across the participation of multiple authentic college games.

WWE 2K15 may have received a mixed reaction from some corners of the WWE Universe, but 2K Games have announced they’re going to release the first ever simulation-based mobile game in the Spring.
The game will be closer to the typical format seen on the console versions and it’ll include a Career Mode, Create-a-Superstar and live Multiplayer matches to test your mettle against other players.
2K Games
2K confirmed the game will feature the likes of Sting, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker and John Cena, as well as the three members of the now-defunct Shield, Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt. It’s unknown if more superstars will make an appearance.
The challenge of developing the title will fall to n-Space and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio; the president of Visual Concepts, Greg Thomas said:

2K Sports has revealed full details of their MyCareer mode for WWE 2K15. The mode will incorporate an immersive and comprehensive career driven gaming experience, with players able to experience the journey of starting as a rookie and fighting toward the long term goal of winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The in-depth details of this sound very exciting. You’ll start off by creating your wrestler in 2K15’s ‘creation suite’, you’ll then report to WWE’s Performance Centre. It sounds just like the real thing – you’ll train under Bill DeMott, navigating a series of objectives in the training areas.
Players will then progress to Nxt, just as a wrestler does in the real world.
“At Nxt, they will encounter a roster of new and future WWE Superstars, including Rusev, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Corey Graves, all of whom will also be available...

2K Games has officially announced that its targeted late October release date for WWE 2K15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been pushed to November 18th domestically and November 21st internationally. This comes as disappointing news for gamers and wrestling fans alike, but it isn’t too uncommon for the first entry of a franchise in a new generation of consoles to not have its launch date align with its last generation counterparts. More work is often required thanks to the new technology.
What is interesting, though, is that the game will indeed still be releasing on October 28th for the systems of yesteryear, which is surprising because there hasn’t really been a settlement to the real-life lawsuit that Cm Punk hit WWE headquarters with a few weeks ago. If any version of WWE 2K15 with Punk in it is made available in stores, then it is possible that...

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew Saturday in a St. Louis suburb where police and protesters have clashed in the week since a black teenager was shot to death by a white police officer. Nixon said that though many protesters were making themselves heard peacefully (see video from Time magazine below), the state would not allow looters to endanger the community where 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot in a street. The curfew will run from midnight to 5 a.m. Sunday. "I am committed to making sure the forces of peace and justice prevail,...
