Jonathan Craven (son of Wes) and Cody Zwieg - who previously produced The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes remakes - are back with a new thriller entitled Charm, from director Ashley Cahill.
Cahill also stars in ths film alongside Rebecca Dayan, Jennifer Murray, James DeBello and Jake Hoffman.
Kirsten Dunst apparently makes a cameo as well.
Cahill plays Malcolm, a young man whose principle interests are movies, New York, and mass murder. He's a New Yorker who gets tired of how gentrified, tepid and antiseptic it's all become. So, he decides to take matters into his own hands by personally starting a crime wave which he hopes will catch on and drive real estate value down, opening up the city to bohemians, artists and a swell of creativity, just like the supposed good 'ole days of the 1970s and '80s. The only problem is: Nobody is paying attention.

Bleiberg Entertainment has acquired international rights to Ashley Cahill's Charm from producers Jonathan Craven and Cody Zwieg (The Last House on the Left, The Hills Have Eyes, Apollo 18). Sales will commence at the Marche du Film in Cannes under Bleiberg’s Compound B banner.
Charm is a fresh, shocking and darkly comic film in the vein of American Psycho and A Clockwork Orange. The film marks the feature debut of writer/director Ashley Cahill, who also stars in the film as “a New Yorker who goes on a crime spree in protest of how gentrified and antiseptic his beloved city has become. The only problem is nobody takes notice of his acts.”
Rebecca Dayan (Limitless), James DeBello (Cabin Fever), and newcomer Jennifer Murray co-star with Jake Hoffman (Barney’s Version) and Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia) making cameos.
