- My lucky charm is my wife. I was doing well in my career before marriage also, but became very successful as soon as I got married. I tied the knot on January 23 and the following day, my show, Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage (2011) in which I am playing the male lead, went on air.
- I believe in God and myself. I don't believe in wearing any stones or indulging in any kind of tantra-mantra for success, money and happiness in life. I just love God and don't fear Him. I believe that God is my friend, my father, my mother and everything.
- In my initial days in the industry, I did not take up modeling as I used to get weird offers. Everybody knows how the fashion industry works and the models keep getting weird offers from some fashion designers. Thus I never took up modeling. Another reason was that I had enough money to look after myself in Mumbai. I had come to the city after saving my hard earned money of three years. Hence there was no need to take up such offers.
- I wanted a wedding a la Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994). However, since I am working on a daily soap, all the pre-wedding functions had to be wrapped up in just two days.... Since, I am a daily soap actor, I can't think of taking out fifteen days from my tight schedule for our honeymoon. Compensating for my unavailability for our honeymoon, I gifted my wife an I-pad and a car on Valentine's Day
- I only believe in God and nothing else. So, there is no place for superstition. Each day is planned by God. So, for example, if you are a non-vegetarian, you can eat it on any day. The idea of not eating it on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday is beyond me. If you do something, do it every day and vice versa.
- I took on Kismat Connection (2015) because the concept was very raw and appealing. I also believe in the benefits of astrology and I am sure my fans will like me in this new show.
- Weirdest thing I have heard when it comes to superstitions: It is bad luck to light three cigarettes at the same time. Smoking itself is bad, what bad or good luck would lighting three or one bring anyway.
- Playing the role of Devdoot in Yeshu (2020) has been almost surreal for me, as it encompasses the character of an angel who is of the purest form. The character is very intriguing and exciting and is not similar to anything that I have played before. Devdoot guides those in doubt and brings clarity in times of uncertainty. He will also be seen as a messenger who is the chosen one to carry out important tasks.
- It feels wonderful to know that people still think that I look younger than my age. Even Aamir Khan played a collegian in 3 Idiots (2009). To look young one should maintain oneself.
- I am very attached to my wedding sherwani. The channel as well as the production house gave me two beautiful sherwanis but I insisted on wearing the one that I wore on my wedding. Ankur Joshi who is the producer of Hi Padosi Kaun Hai Doshi (2011) and also a great friend agreed to it. Well, it is a happy-happy ending. I got to relive my shaadi moments and the production house saved some moolah.
- It is indeed challenging to enter a show (Kundali Bhagya (2017)), which has been airing on TV for four years. All the actors are established and their characters are accepted by the audience. But it is also an advantage. It's always great to join a show, which is popular and appreciated by the audience. Besides, the team and my co-actors have been extremely welcoming. They are sweet and cooperative. I am having a great time on the set shooting for the show.
