Banff, the Canadian media festival, has unveiled its nominees for its 2024 Rockie Awards International Program Competition.
The festival, which takes place in June, has nominated 155 shows and podcasts from 19 countries including 101 from the U.S. and UK.
The in-person and live-streamed ceremony will take place June 11.
The Rockie Awards Grand Jury consists of Javiera Balmaceda, Head of Originals, Latin America, CA & Au at Amazon MGM Studios, Julie Chang, EVP, Business Strategy & Co-Productions at Blue Ant Media, Prentiss Fraser, President, TV Distribution at Fifth Season, Nichole T. Roberts, Head of Unscripted at Hoorae, Michael Thorn, President, Scripted Programming at Fox Entertainment and Morgan Wandell, Head of International Content Development at Apple TV+.
Titles nominated include Abbott Elementary, Poker Face, The Great, The Wonder Years, The Other Black Girl, Gen V, Happy Valley, Succession, The Last of Us and The Newsreader. For the full list, click here.

The BBC leads all producers among nominees with 22 at this year’s 2024 Rockie Awards International Program Competition, as announced Thursday by the Banff World Media Festival. The United States is tops among all countries, with 51 total, followed closely by the UK with 50.
Among U.S. production companies, 20th TV was tops with 8 — helped by its sweep of the scripted animated series field. Nominees in the English-language comedy field include “Abbott Elementary,” “Poker Face,” “The Great” and “The Wonder Years,” while drama nominees include “Gen V,” “Succession,” “Happy Valley” and “The Last of Us.”

Getting into a surfing accident may have been the best thing that ever happened to Julie Chang. The entertainment anchor on Fox 11′s “Good Day L.A.” has gone on medical leave, after a Ct scan she underwent after suffering an injury on the waves revealed a tumor in the core of her brain. Inside Broadway held its annual Broadway Beacon Awards on Monday night, honoring Christie Brinkley, Nick Jonas, Iatse Local One President James J. Claffey Jr., and the Millennium Broadway Hotel, where the event was held. The awards show focused on the honorees’ contributions to the theater community, as well as the work that Inside Broadway, a not-for-profit educational theater company, has done with students throughout New York City.The evening included a performance by Elizabeth Stanley, who just finished starring in “Million Dollar Quartet” Off-Broadway, plenty of jokes from entertainment reporter Julie Chang, who hosted the event, and even a surprise performance by Jonas, which incited much squealing from the younger members of the audience. But it was a group of ten students from P.S. 97 in Brooklyn who kicked off the show, performing an adorable rendition of “New York, New York” from the Leonard Bernstein musical, “On the Town,” which prompted.

Inside Broadways 2012 Broadway Beacon Awards will be held at 600Pm tonight, June 4th, 2012 at the Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Broadway Hotel in the heart of Times Square at 145 West 44th Street. The evening will honor How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying star and singersongwriter Nick Jonas, model, philanthropist and Chicago star Christie Brinkley currently starring on Broadway before joining the national tour, I.A.T.S.E. President James J. Claffey, Jr., and The Millennium Broadway Hotel for their longstanding contributions to Times Square and the Broadway community. The evening, which begins with a cocktail hour, will be hosted by FOX5 reporter Julie Chang. The awards ceremony will begin at 730pm.

Less than a week before 'X-Factor' makes its season debut on Fox, entertainment reporter Julie Chang of 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9Am Et on Fox) caught up with Simon Cowell at the show's red carpet premiere event. Cowell compared the experience of starting on a new show to his beginnings with 'American Idol' and revealed a celebrity judge.
Chang said Cowell looked "like a new man," and asked him if he had more invested in the new show, since its one he had created. "Well, it's like starting all over again," he said. "When I came here ten years ago, it was a similar feeling. I had no idea what was going to happen. But I did like the show. And this is kind of the same feeling. It's a different show. I've enjoyed it. I don't know what's going to happen. So it's exciting.

They have arrived, the latest one being Marc Anthony's interview with John Quinones for 'Nightline' Thursday night. Friday morning, 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9Am Et on Fox) entertainment reporter Julie Chang recounted the interview.
Chang said the couple had mutually agreed to the divorce. "We realized very, very early on that even though we're not together, this story's not over," Anthony told 'Nightline.' "There's stuff to do together. There's life to see together through Max and Emmy. You know what I mean? So it's all good, man."
