Neighbours
Not much to say here, other than I thought the scenes of a drugged out Chris revealing his innermost thoughts to be cute and funny. We don’t get to see Chris in comedic moments very often, but James Mason handled it well. I thought it was interesting how Chris prattled on about how much he liked Aiden, clearly a setup for their forthcoming romance. I’m not sure if Chris and Aiden have much chemistry, but then again, it hasn’t had a chance to develop yet. I guess we’ll see as the story moves forward.
Hollyoaks
I really think Hollyoaksdropped the ball in regards to Brendan’s handling of Declan. It’s true that Declan shouldn’t develop Brendan’s less than desirable habits and Brendan should deter that behavior in his son. But the show seems to be saying Brendan can...

Days of Our Lives
Thank God it’s over. That’s what I thought at the end of last Friday’s episode when the show finally brought the horrible website storyline to a close. And aside from the fact that it’s finished, there’s nothing positive to say about this plot, which was terrible from first scene to last. There were so many things wrong with this storyline, and they were exemplified by this week's episodes. Plot holes and poor characterization abounded. And the acting was painful to watch, with the bit players and the show’s regular performers equally bad. But most of all, there were two things about these episodes that were particularly disturbing.
Sonny and Austin got to play hero in this bad storyline…
One, how all the women stood around and looked helpless and waited for the men to rescue them.

EastEnders
I know a lot of people were upset that Ben slept with Lola given that Ben knows he’s gay. We have had too many tv gay teens who lose their virginity to girls, but I can sort of relate to the situation Ben was in, and I get why he would do it.
He might think he’s gay or believe he’s gay, but sleeping with a girl would remove any doubts, which is exactly how it played out. However, I’m not sure why Lola would sleep with Ben. It’s not like she particularly liked him or was even attracted to him. She just seemed all too casual about sleeping with Ben to me. But perhaps that’s an attitude that many teens have about intimacy in general, not worried about the very real ramifications of casual sex. And I suspect...

Hollyoaks star Bronagh Waugh has revealed that she wants to explore the Brady family further. The actress, who plays Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 soap, praised the arrival of Brendan's (Emmett J Scanlan) son Declan (Jay Duffy) as an important step towards going deeper into their back story. It is really interesting," Waugh told Pa. Duffy's father is Coronation Street actor Keith, and the Boyzone star has visited the Hollyoaks set several times to support his (more)...
