Billie Eilish swept the top categories at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards as she and brother/recording partner Finneas O’Connell took home six out of the seven awards they were nominated for. Eilish became only the second artist in history to nab new artist, song of the year, record of the year and album of the year. She also won pop vocal album while O’Connell earned producer of the year and engineered album (both non-classical).
Lizzo had a stellar Grammy debut as well. After opening the show with a Kobe Bryant tribute and an energetic rendition of “Truth Hurts,” she picked up trophies for pop solo performance, traditional R&b performance and urban contemporary album. Tyler, the Creator won his first Grammy on Sunday in the rap album category, beating 21 Savage, Ybn Cordae, Meek Mill and Dreamville.

Lethal Weapon prepares for the end with a satisfying episode that puts Murtaugh and Cole’s partnership to the test

Lethal Weapon Season 3 Episode 14
“So when you said you’d do anything to help, you didn’t really mean ‘anything.’”
It’s not surprising to see Lethal Weapon focus on its major themes and storylines as the season comes to an end. In the case of Lethal Weapon season 3, that means testing Murtaugh and Cole’s relationship one last time. While this may not be the most original conflict, it makes for an interesting one because it’s one that the show fundamentally couldn’t do if Riggs was still around. For that reason, “A Game of Chicken” makes for a satisfying set up to the show’s swan song because it very much functions as the ultimate test of “Lethal Weapon 2.0.”

Lethal Weapon Season 3 Episode 7
“We’re all expendable…”
Cole’s bond with Natalie has been a fundamental aspect of Lethal Weapon’s third season and “Bali” provides the greatest glimpse yet into their relationship. As these two struggle to find a balance in the present, they seem to constantly be at odds between fantasy and reality. Cole continues to cling onto the warm romance of their past, but Natalie has a grounded take on how things really are. “Bali” pits fantasy against reality in a number of different ways, whether it’s in reference to Cole’s love life or the decision to prioritize your duty over your family.

Lethal Weapon Season 3 Episode 6
“Partners are like family. You need to be able to rely on them.”
Lethal Weapon’s previous episode generated some criticism for how it played into the show’s formula a little too much. However, with the direction that “Panama” takes, it’s now rather clear that this is likely the trajectory for the rest of the year. Learn more about Cole’s past? Check. Put Murtaugh and Trish in some obligatory fight that gets blown out of proportion? Check. A lot of dialogue about the importance of partners and family? Double check. Welcome back to another episode of season three of Lethal Weapon.

As Seann William Scott’s Wesley Cole settles into his role as the new partner of Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) on the upcoming third season of Fox’s Lethal Weapon, the show will introduce another key figure from his past.
Mykelti Williamson has been cast in a recurring role in Season 3 of Lethal Weapon, which features Cole, a disillusioned CIA agent who had served overseas in Iraq who now returns to Los Angeles to try and reconnect with his family.
Williamson will play Tom Barnes, Cole’s CIA recruiter. Maggie Lawson previously had been cast as Cole’s ex-girlfriend. Warner Bros. TV is the studio.
Williamson recently co-starred in Denzel Washington’s Fences and recurred on Underground and Chicago P.D. He is repped by Frontline Management and Paradigm.
