The Nacelle Company is teaming with Breaker’s Blockchain Entertainment Studio on the release of Antarctica, a romantic comedy written and directed by Keith Bearden. Starring Chloë Levine, Clea Lewis, Damian Young, and newcomer Kimmie Muroya, the pic will be released sometime later this year.
It’s a story of two life-long best friends that experience a tidal wave of adult pressures and problems as they face down their last year of high school in small-town USA. Will they crack under the societal pressures, or will they triumph over the metaphorical icy tundra they call their late teens?
The deal was negotiated by Anna Roberts of The Nacelle Company and Jake Craven of Breaker.

Parents looking for someone to care for their children don’t want to make a million calls to lock down a sitter. And because that sentiment is as true now as it was in the mid-1980s — when The Baby-Sitters Club books hit the scene — Netflix’s adaptation of the young adult novels feels fresh, fun and relevant.

Earlier this year it was announced that Netflix would be developing a new animated series based on the classic 80s cartoon She-Ra. The new fantasy series will be called She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and today we have a piece of poster art to share with you along with the list of actors who have been cast to voice the series.
The series is being developed by Noelle Stevenson, who wasn't even born when the original series debuted in 1985. But, she still loves the characters and what they represent. While talking to EW, she said:
"I was always looking for the female characters in sci-fi and fantasy who were more than just the girlfriend. I love the female characters in She–Ra. There isn’t another show quite like it.""She–Ra was ahead of its time. I’m so excited to bring these stories of female power and...

Humanity has figured out a way to live virtually forever! Yay! But by doing so, it has sent society tumbling into a morass where issues of class, morality and wealth distribution have created a soul-sucking dystopia. Booooooo.
And when Netflix’s Altered Carbon reawakens a 22nd-century warrior centuries after his death and thrusts him into this terrible new world, things get even more complicated.

When technology advances to the point that death is more a minor inconvenience and less a consciousness-ending blow, humans will have the theoretical ability to live forever. But Altered Carbon, Netflix’s optically impressive yet frustratingly off-balance new drama, makes a convincing argument that we probably shouldn’t.
The sci-fi series, which begins streaming its entire first season on Friday, Feb. 2, is based on Richard K. Morgan’s 2002 novel of the same name and takes place in a far-flung future in which the totality of a person’s existence — thoughts, memories, joys, sorrows, etc. — is stored in a disc-shaped “stack” implanted in the spinal column.

Altered Carbon is the latest big-budget series to come from Netflix.
The streaming giant is betting big on the series, and there are rumblings that it has already been renewed for Season 2 even though Season 1 is yet to debut.
The series is set in a world in which bodies are mere vessels and consciousness can be digitized and transplanted into a brand new body.
It is rather scary to think about, and it's difficult for us to explain, so thankfully, Netflix today released a brand new featurette that includes interviews with the cast and crew.
They explain, in detail, about what goes into transporting consciousness from one vessel to another.
The official logline for the series describes Altered Carbon as “ an intriguing story of murder, love, sex, and betrayal, set more than 300 years in the future. Society has been transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are...
