Ross Wells, a professional author/filmmaker/educator, known for writing, producing, directing, acting, cinematography, and editing, has created four feature-length films: "To the Yonder" (2022), "Let's Scare Rachel to Death" (2021), "Raven's Nightmare" (2011), and "Haunting Mary Shelley" (1980). Wells has published three novels: "In the Realms of Madness" (2018), "The Movies Made Me Do It!" (2017), and "eXploZion!" (2002). Critic Heather Froeschel, BookReview.com, wrote "Movie buffs will love it!... definitely different...a cross between Johnny Depp's Ed Wood and a college course in film." As gothic horror director Roberts Boothe in "To the Yonder" Wells creates a multi-dimensional character striving to find answers to the complex problems in life. As Father Abram Mueller in "Let's Scare Rachel to Death" Wells delivers a tour-de-force performance as a renegade exorcist. Wells was educated at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where he performed in main stage theatrical productions, worked on the University Daily newspaper, and composed "Haunting Mary Shelley" (awarded "Outstanding Video Production" at the Texas Tech Film/Video Festival).
