Sidney Bryant Sr.was born to Charlene (Theodore) Moore and Rayford Bryant in Valdosta Georgia at Moody Air Force Base. He was raised in the southern woods of Broxton Georgia as a very active child, often staying in trouble and through middle school; in his principal's office.
Sidney is the husband of Kia Lavett Bryant and together they have six beautiful children; Sidney Jr., Frederic Jr. Ava, Nolan, Serenity and Sir'Elijah. Bryant admits he does not know where the road of film making may lead him, but he is sure his decision to return to Douglas, GA and began making movies was the right thing to do. His passion to be a filmmaker stemmed from his early years of video production in the Coffee County School System. He later obtained an Associate Degree of the Arts in Video Production from the Art Institute of Atlanta before returning to his home community.
As a teenager, he became driven to become an arts professional after being inspired by Sherwood Pictures' first main stream movie "Facing the Giants" and is inspired by Tyler Perry's life story of resilience.
Bryant engaged in his first production on location of The Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village, in Tifton GA. In the summer of 2010. The project did not deliver what his heart desired or what his pocketbook needed. This stumble in his career only created a stronger urge to push forward and follow his dream. Sidney soon focused his attention on a new script and production, Even Eye which went on to pack out local theaters in the fall of 2012. Since Even Eye; Byrant has produce 3 feature films including Surrender, Believe, Grace to Forgive & Redwood all featuring local talent and crew. Bryant's ultimate goal is to build a faith based-film community in the rural South Georgia region that's fully equipped with everything needed to produce movies & tv shows.
Today, Sidney is the founder & CEO of the "Compel Inner-Province" franchise which is ever-growing conglomerate comprised of ONE Compelling Picture, Compel Church of GA, The Real Grace Firm, The Faith & Film Coalition and NexusReach Campaign Partners.
