Comedians are known for pushing the envelope. So when Usama Siddiquee stepped on the America’s Got Talent stage to perform his stand-up routine, he had no plans of holding back. Although he got off to a good start, there were points in his routine that many viewers considered sexist. He even went as far as to tell a joke about one of the judges, Heidi Klum. Although Usama thought he had a good one on his hands, Heidi didn’t think so and made it very clear that she found the joke offensive. Usama is still proud of the joke, though,

Jay and Gloria Pritchett were briefly reunited on Wednesday when Ed O’Neill popped into America’s Got Talent to catch up with former TV wife Sofia Vergara.
But before we get to that, let’s start with this week’s results: aerialist Alan Silva, singer Cristina Rae and magician Max Major received the most votes, securing them each a spot in the Season 15 semifinals. They were joined by W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew, the winner of this week’s Dunkin’ Save, and drummer Malik Dope, the act chosen by the judges to remain in the game.

“America’s Got Talent” continued the final phase of its unconventional season 15 on Tuesday with the third live performance show and Wednesday with the results of that show based on audience votes. In this quarter-finals round, which consists of four episodes, 11 acts per night will perform for the judges. On the August 25 live show, judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara were alone on the panel while Simon Cowell remained absent while recovering from surgery.
Of Tuesday’s 11 acts that performed, only five of them will advance to the next round, the semi-finals. Those 11 acts were: Simon’s Golden Buzzer act dance group W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew and Heidi’s Golden Buzzer act singer Cristina Rae, aerialist Alan Silva, dance crews Bone Breakers and Dance Town Family, drummer Malik Dope, magician Max Major, stand-up comedian Usama Siddiquee, and singers Annie Jones, Nolan Neals, and Sheldon Riley.

All week long, “America’s Got Talent” fans have been making their predictions for which acts from the 3rd night of Quarterfinals will advance to the next round, and which ones will be eliminated. That means six acts are about to have their dreams shattered on NBC’s reality TV show.
Based on our readers’ odds, things are looking good for these five acts: singer Cristina Rae (Heidi Klum‘s Golden Buzzer), dance act Waffle Crew (Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzer), aerialist Alan Silva, singer Sheldon Riley and mentalist Max Major. Judge Howie Mandel praised the collective group for helping to create the best live show so far in Season 15.

“America’s Got Talent” contestant Usama Siddiquee took a big swing with his set for Tuesday’s live show, opting for jokes about racial profiling and anti-feminism that didn’t seem to impress the judges very much.
Siddiquee started out his set by joking about his name catching Tsa’s attention at the airport, which seemed to amuse judge Howie Mandel, but Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara were less convinced. His shift to material using anti-feminism as a punchline did not help in winning them over.
By the time Siddiquee was repeatedly calling Klum a “tramp” for the last joke in his set, his fate with the judges seemed sealed.

Stand-up comedian Usama Siddiquee took a big risk during the August 25 “America’s Got Talent” live show by doing a set filled with controversial material. For a family show like “Agt,” it’s rare for a comedian to make the judges visibly cringe, but Usama did just that when he joked about 9/11 and how club DJs have the ability to tell women they shouldn’t vote and should go back to the kitchen. However, when he called Heidi Klum a “tramp” on live television, that’s when things got really, really awkward. Read the judges’ comments below and watch Usama’s routine right here:

“America’s Got Talent” continued the final phase of its unconventional season 15 on Tuesday with the third live performance show of the summer. After each round of performances, three acts will advance to the semi-finals based on the overnight audience vote, then the 4th, 5th and 6th vote-getters will compete live for the Dunkin’ Save which one will earn and another will be saved by the judges.
On the August 25 live show, Simon Cowell was still absent while recovering from surgery, leaving Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara on their own on the panel of judges. Simon broke his back two weeks ago in a bike accident, so word is still out on when the judge/producer will return to the “Agt” stage. He was replaced by Kelly Clarkson the first week and Kenan Thompson last week. The other trio of judges are Heidi, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. Host Terry Crews will once again interview the 11 acts from a safe distance on stage at Universal Studios Hollywood.

For the “America’s Got Talent” Season 15 live shows, 44 acts will perform for America’s vote across four weeks. Tour our photos above for a preview of the third group of 11 “Agt” quarter-finalists that will take the live stage at Universal Studios Hollywood on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. This group notably includes two Golden Buzzers: Heidi Klum‘s singer Cristina Rae and Simon Cowell‘s dance act Waffle Crew.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic the entire season had to be re-structured, including the all-important live shows. Several of the acts who initially auditioned online due to stay-at-home orders will now come to Hollywood to perform, despite there not being a live studio audience. Host Terry Crews returned for this 15th season, as did judges Simon, Heidi and Howie Mandel. New judge Sofia Vergara joined the “Agt” crew for the first time. After Simon broke his back, he was replaced on the panel by a rotating guest judge.

The Judge Cuts round of “America’s Got Talent” season 15 began on July 28 with another two-hour episode that saw the series doing things a little bit different in order to keep the crew and talent socially distant from one another. In this phase of “Agt,” judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara convened on an outdoor set for a drive-in movie themed viewing of the acts filmed from home.
Absent from the Judge Cuts are the five acts that advanced from the auditions round straight to the live shows for receiving a Golden Buzzer from one of the judges or host Terry Crews. Those were Voices of Our City Choir (Terry’s pick), singer Roberta Battaglia (Sofia’s pick), singer Cristina Rae (Heidi’s pick), dance group Waffle Crew (Simon’s pick) and spoke word artist Brandon Leake (Howie’s pick).

And then there were… fewer. Tuesday’s episode of America’s Got Talent reunited the judges (in person!) to crush a few more dreams and reveal which acts will be proceeding to the Season 15 live episodes.
As is the case with all difficult Agt decisions, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara were at each other’s throats from the jump, with several judges bringing up valid arguments like “You don’t know what it’s like to swallow a sword” and “Nein! Nein! Nein!” It was utter chaos.

From singers to dancers to danger acts and everything in between, “America’s Got Talent” is TV’s only competition show that embraces all forms of variety acts. Throughout its 15 years on the air, seven singers have claimed victory with the others being a mix of ventriloquists, magicians, etc. (See the “Agt” winners list.) However, there are five specific variety acts that have yet to win the top prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas. Can any of these acts make history for “America’s Got Talent” in Season 15?
Comedians

It’s not easy for a comedian to win over an audience with a 90-second set on network television, but that’s just what Usama Siddiquee was able to do when he took the stage on Tuesday’s second episode of “America’s Got Talent.” Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel couldn’t contain their laughter as they watched this medical school dropout explain his unfortunate mishaps in life. Watch Usama’s audition video above.
“I was going the med school track,” Usama admitted to host Terry Crews before his audition. “I was gonna go and the week before I was like, ‘Mom, Dad, it’s not gonna happen.’ I wanted to do comedy in New York. If you’re an immigrant dad or mom, a son going to med school is like triple sevens, you made it. When I told my mom she goes in the kitchen and starts banging on pots.

“America’s Got Talent” season 15 continues on June 2 with another two-hour episode showcasing the best (and worst) auditions. In this phase of “Agt,” an act needs at least three of the four judges to give them a “yes” vote to advance to the next round. If two or more judges buzz the act, it is immediately eliminated.
Each judge, along with host Terry Crews, has one chance to hit the “golden buzzer” and send an act straight through to the live performances. Terry was inspired to press his golden buzzer on the season 15 premiere by the performance of the Voices of Our City Choir. Their mission is to serve the homeless community of San Diego. In their audition they sang “Sounds of the Sidewalk,” an original tune written and produced through their songwriting clinic.
