Patrick J. Fong

Patrick J. Fong was born and raised in San Francisco, California to parents of Chinese descent. As a child, Patrick was interested in the performing arts but was discouraged by his traditional parents who had no exposure to or interest in the artistic world. Despite the lack of encouragement or guidance, Patrick pursued his love of music and is a self-taught guitar player and piano player. Patrick has also written and published a non-fiction book. Later in life, Patrick pursued his lifelong dream of becoming an actor. He began taking classes and almost Immediately found success signing with a well-known talent agency in San Francisco and landing his first lead role in an independent short film entitled the Cab Fare (2012). He continued to further his acting career by training with several renowned acting teachers and working on both feature films and independent films throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Several of these films were well-received in local and international film festivals. Patrick is often seen in local TV commercials, billboards and print literature. He is known for his role as a shopkeeper in the short film Adrift in Sunset (2015) and later as Kevin Chan in the short docu-drama film Kung Flu (2021).
