Earlier this month, an image cinematographer Christian Sebaldt shared on Instagram indicated that Final Destination 6 (which is going by the title Final Destination: Bloodlines) was finally, after years of development and a thirteen-year gap between sequels, heading into production. The next day, producer Craig Perry took to social media to confirm that Final Destination: Bloodlines is indeed filming, the aim being to get this one into theatres in 2025 – in time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the original film. Now, it’s been revealed that the long anticipated sequel has officially wrapped principal photography. Once again, the announcement came courtesy of Perry. The film stars Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee. It also features the return of Tony Todd in his iconic role as William Budworth, who was in the first,...

Lifetime’s latest twisted family saga has come to a close. Part 4 of V.C. Andrews’ Dawn aired on July 29, it didn’t hold back when it came to campy, over-the-drop drama we’ve come to expect from the network’s adaptations of the V.C. Andrews’ gothic novels. The final installment of this limited series featured a tragic fire, a grab-bag of creepy and vindictive relatives, and a high-stakes game of keep-away with a baby doll. Let’s break down how things ended for the cursed Cutler family in Midnight Whipsters.

If a man in a Vc Andrews story seems like a good guy, he’s more than likely the worst. That rang especially true with Michael Sutton in Episode 2 of the Lifetime limited series Vc Andrews’ Dawn, titled ‘Secrets of the Morning.”
Dawn (played by Brec Bassinger) moved to New York City to study singing and earned a coveted spot in Sutton’s class. That was a big deal, given that he was (allegedly) a Broadway star with dashingly good looks.

V.C. Andrews' Dawn's Joey McIntyre Teases Secrets of the Morning and Playing Naughty Michael Sutton!
It goes without saying that Lifetime lands the best actors for their Vc-Andrews-verse sagas.
And landing a New Kids On The Block member is right up there with their greatest hits.
One of the most exciting aspects of the V.C. Andrews Dawn Miniseries event is that we have the likes of Joey McIntyre channeling '70s Bad Boy Michael Sutton in part two of the Cutler Saga.
Of course, nothing topped chatting with the heartbreaker himself as he discussed the quick turnaround of getting this role, his great working chemistry with lead Brec Bassinger, and so much more.
We were fortunate enough to catch up with McIntyre ahead of the SAG-AFTRA strike to discuss the project. Check out our full interview below!
So how exactly did an NKotB member end up in a V.C. Andrews film?
Not the way you'd expect!

Oh yes, Lifetime is back covering another V.C. Andrews Saga.
And we're back with our reviews of this utter madness. We're kicking off the cutthroat Cutlers saga with V.C. Andrews' Dawn this time.
And the generational battle of the badass blonds was deliciously epic and entertaining.
It wouldn't be a V.C. Andrews special without scandalous family secrets, shady rich people, incestual relationships worth side-eying, and deliciously evil women.
But dare one say they were fairly light on some of those things, which was a bit of a surprise.
Another surprise was just how enjoyable Dawn Longchamp Cutler (?) was as a protagonist.
No offense to some of the other V.C. Andrews' girlies, ahem, Heaven, let's be real, it's freaking Heaven, but for the most part, Dawn at least seemed like she had full control of the brain cell at all times, if you catch my drift.

Fortunately, TV Fanatic got the opportunity to jump on Zoom with star, Bassinger, to discuss what it was like to play the film's titular role as we follow her through her journey from adolescence through adulthood.

Donna Mills’ most famous TV part is undoubtedly the manipulative Abby Fairgate Cunningham Ewing Sumner, whom she deliciously played for nine seasons (1980-89) on CBS’s primetime soap Knots Landing. But the actress says that even Abby might run and hide from powerful hotel owner Lillian Cutler in Lifetime’s limited series V.C. Andrews’ Dawn, premiering Saturday, July 8. “People say to me, ‘You’re used to playing the bad girl because you played Abby.’ And I say, ‘Lillian is way badder!’” In the premiere, Lillian’s nastiness is unleashed on innocent teen Dawn Longchamp, who learns that she’s really the presumed-dead Eugenia Cutler, and the humble “parents” she grew up with (played by Jesse Metcalfe and Helena Marie) abducted her as a baby. Being a minor, Dawn has no choice but to be separated from her loving brother, Jimmy (Khobe Clarke), and move in with grandmother Lillian, who quickly...

Within the first half-hour of the Lifetime limited series V.C. Exclusive: Ed Harris (Westworld), Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery) and Natalie Morales (No Hard Feelings) have closed deals to lead My Dead Friend Zoe, a dark dramedy about two generations of veterans, family and friendship, which Kyle Hausmann-Stokes will direct in his feature debut.
The film written by Hausmann-Stokes and A.J. Bermudez tells the story of a female veteran (Martin-Green) engaged in a mysterious but comfortable friendship with her wise-cracking (and dead) best friend from the Army (Morales). This Titans season 4 article contains spoilers.
With shows like Loki and movies like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Marvel has established itself as the source for multiverse stories in television and film. But comic book fans know that Marvel was relatively late to the multiverse game, having been beaten to the punch several decades earlier by the DC story “The Flash of Two Worlds.”
So it was more than a little satisfying to see Gar Logan aka Beast Boy take a trip through the Red that connects all of the DC worlds in the ninth episode of Titans fourth and final season, “Dude, Where’s My Gar.” As Gar (Ryan Potter) moves through the Red, we get glimpses of various other DC properties, including Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) of Stargirl, Swamp Thing (Derek Mears) from the short-lived 2019 series, as well as he and Cyborg’s animated counterparts from Teen Titans Go!.

Not only was DC’s Stargirl an apparent casualty of the changes underway at The CW under new owner Nexstar, but a potential spinoff may have been thrown out with the bath water.
Back in Season 2, the DC series introduced the character of Jennie Hayden aka Jade (played by Ysa Penarejo), the daughter of Green Lantern Alan Scott. Having aged out of a group home, Jennie at the time was struggling with her own, recently discovered green energy-based powers, while also wondering where her twin brother Todd had landed.

Stargirl's untimely cancellation left many wondering whether the series finale would actually feature enough closure.
Now, series star Brec Bassinger is speaking out about two endings being shot in case The CW picked up a fourth season.
The good news? It sounds like fans will get a conclusive ending.
“Geoff [Johns] was so smart because obviously there’s been a lot of changes in the CW and the Warner Brothers this past year, so the future of any show was not quite certain and because of that, he went the extra mile and shot two different endings, because he did not want to leave the fans with all these question marks,” Bassinger said on the Wayne Ayers Podcast.
Bassinger says the final episode will have a "a lot of beautiful closure."
However, the star says that it will "make people sad because the fourth-season idea was insane."
"Like, it would have been epic.
