The Voice's Amber Carrington on 'Stay,' 'Crazy,' Forgotten Lyrics — 'I'm Glad I Didn't Play It Safe'
Amber Carrington recognizes that her decision to dabble in a variety of genres may have hurt her chances at winning Season 4 of The Voice. Nevertheless, she has no regrets.
“Team Adam was all about taking risks and making a mark on the world,” says the eventual Top 5 finisher. “Every single song that I did was a new challenge for me, and I’m glad I didn’t play it safe.”

Timing is everything in the music business. That’s a lesson Holly Tucker learned when she got rejected during an open-call audition for The Voice back in Season 1. “They said I had a lot of potential, but they wanted to see me grow a little bit more,” recalls Tucker.
Undeterred, the Waco, TX native tried out for The X Factor, American Idol and even America’s Got Talent, coming close in several instances but with the same “no cigar” outcome.

"The Voice" has crowned its winner: Danielle Bradbery is the Season 4 champion.
The 16-year-old country singer from Team Blake is the competition's youngest winner ever, beating out fellow team members The Swon Brothers, who came in third place, and runner-up Michelle Chamuel of newbie coach Usher's team to become Season 4's "Voice" winner.
"I"m so thankful," Danielle said after the final results were announced as tears filled her eyes and confetti fell on the stage. "I'm sorry. I'm speechless."
No one went home empty-handed, though: All of the finalists won cars, courtesy of Kia.
A very confident Blake -- who celebrated his 38th birthday on Tuesday and won both Season 2 (Jermaine Paul) and Season 3 (Cassadee Pope) -- said in his final confessional, "I know that Danielle and The Swon Brothers want this so badly that it's going to make my year to see them standing in the winner's circle.

With voting for the Season 4 winner of "The Voice" closed, there was little for finalists Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers to do during Tuesday night's (June 18) live finale but enjoy themselves, have fun and try not to let their nerves get the best of them. And enjoy themselves they did, taking the stage with major acts like Bob Seger, One Republic and Hunter Hayes (which we'll get to later). But the night had one main purpose: To reveal a champion.
So who won? With seven minutes left in the two-hour broadcast, host Carson Daly brought the three finalists on stage to begin the end. After asking for final thoughts from each, it was time to get down to business. Taking third place, its the brother duo from Oklahoma. As the Swons left the stage, Danielle and Michelle gathered close to await their fate. And then the announcement...

That’s all, folks! After three months of tough competition, it all came down to Michelle, Danielle and the Swon Brothers. Read on to see who took home the title of ‘The Voice’ on June 18!
The Voice finale was full of performance after performance after performance. From Christina Aguilera and Pitbull to an iconic performance by Cher, we almost forgot that someone had to go home. So, did one of birthday boy Blake Shelton‘s contestants win to make it a three-peat? Or did Usher‘s star rise to the top?
‘The Voice’ Results
It all came down to Team Usher V. Team Blake. Michelle Chamuel put on three rockin’ performances on the 17th; the Swon Brothers hit every note of their falsetto; and Danielle Bradbery‘s matchup with Blake was ultimate perfection.
Unfortunately, there could only be one winner.
After Swon Borthers landed in third, it all came down to Michelle v.

If I were back in Catholic grade school, I suspect Sister Mary Rita would’ve kept me after class and sentenced me to a half hour at the chalkboard this afternoon, writing: “It does not matter who wins Season 4 of The Voice. It does not matter who wins Season 4 of The Voice. It does not matter who wins Season 4 of The Voice.”
And Sister Rita, smart cookie that she was, would’ve had a point. After Monday night’s Live Finals, the Top 3 acts — Michelle Chamuel, Danielle Bradbery and The Swon Brothers — all managed to land two songs apiece in the iTunes Top 10 Singles chart.

June 18 marks the fourth season finale of ‘The Voice’ on NBC! This season has given us the most talented singers in the show’s history, and now that it’s down to the final three, I can’t imagine Danielle not winning it all.
Danielle Bradbery is a star, that’s really the bottom line. The Voice is full of talent, but it takes a specific kind of singer to stand out — and coach/mentor Blake Shelton has helped Danielle to really shine.
Danielle Bradbery Has The Most Potential As An Artist
At 16, Danielle did her first big performance ever on The Voice stage, taking on Taylor Swift‘s “Mean.” Now, just three months later, she’s a superstar.
As her coach, Blake has transformed a shy high school girl into a mature, beautiful star. Not only has her voice become stronger, but her maturity has also increased tremendously, as well as her confidence.

Sasha was eliminated on the June 11 episode of ‘The Voice,’ and I’m Not happy about it. After taking on both Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, there’s no way she should have gone home!
This season of The Voice has got to be one of the most shocking ever. While all the contestants are extremely talented, for some reason the better singers were sent home early. Then, right before the finale, we said goodbye to Sasha Allen – the most powerful singer on the entire show!
Sasha Allen: The Elimination That Shocked Us All
We all know I was really upset after the elimination of both Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons on May 28. I think it may have broken my heart, along with their coach Adam Levine‘s.
But I had faith because, along with Blake Shelton‘s amazing country team, we still had Shakira‘s bombshell, Sasha.

And then there were three! After two huge eliminations, the final three were revealed on ‘The Voice’ — and two coaches were left heartbroken!
With the talent in The Voice‘s final five, we knew it would be hard to see any of them head home — especially after those stellar performances on June 10. Unfortunately, after one of the most intense eliminations yet, it was narrowed down to three. So, who made it into the final three?
Old Faces Return To ‘The Voice’
We loved when Voice alumna Cassadee Pope hit the stage on June 3. So, of course it was great to see Terry McDermott, Tony Lucca and Nicholas David all return to perform.
But they weren’t the only ones who rocked the stage on June 11. Fall Out Boy performed their hit “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)”!
Final 3 Revealed
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all fun and games.

Holly broke down in tears when she was eliminated on the June 4 episode of ‘The Voice.’ In a new interview, she explains what was going through her mind in that moment and what her plans are for her music career going forward.
To the shock of many (though not really us), Holly Tucker was left off of The Voice’s Top 5 and was eliminated on the June 4 episode. Holly was so close and yet so far, and she went into detail about how devastating it was to get that far and go home with nothing in a new interview.
