The View’s Tuesday broadcast was one co-host short of a full panel.
At the top of the hour, just Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin sat at the show’s Hot Topics table, with Sara Haines clearly M.I.A. (She did, however, appear on Monday’s installment.) So why was Haines absent from the show? Goldberg answered that question at the top of the second segment.

MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace quite literally threw out her prepared script on Friday on-air while covering breaking news about a new public attack from former president Donald Trump. The visibly angry anchor told a panel of guests that “it’s time to do something different” when speaking about Trump’s outrageous and sometimes dangerous actions on and offline.
Wallace picked up her news script and tossed it to her right as she explained, “I have come on the air with breaking news about requests for gag orders because of threats for judges and their kids more times than I can count today before I got ready.”
After she apologized to the person who “has to write the banner at the bottom of my show,” Wallace added, “Donald Trump broke the rule of law. We should cover a broken judiciary in this country. Donald Trump managed to delay every federal, criminal...

MSNBC revealed “breaking news” regarding the newest indictment of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-New Jersey). Unfortunately, this happened while his daughter and MSNBC anchor, Alicia Menendez, was hosting the MSNBC show Deadline: White House.
Alicia announced this “breaking news” during the last five minutes of Deadline: White House‘s Tuesday edition. She was filling in for the show’s host, Nicole Wallace.
The senator was indicted in September 2023 on charges of bribery, and he pleaded not guilty.
Federal government officials stated that he and his wife, Nadine Arslanian, took bribes in the form of cash, gold bars and a convertible. Prosecutors accused the senator of relying on his position as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to further the Egyptian government’s interests.
The Department of Justice also claimed that the senator was given luxury wristwatches and Formula One tickets, which he got in exchange for having promoted the Qatari government.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: A prominent TV reporter walks into a bar…
A handful of the news anchors at MSNBC recently held a dinner to welcome Ana Cabrera, the former CNN journalist, to the network, where she has taken the reins of its 10 a.m. hour. Chris Jansing and Katy Tur, familiar faces to MSNBC viewers, were holding court, but Andrea Mitchell, a legendary Washington correspondent who has anchored an early afternoon show on MSNBC since 2008, was missing, due to making an appearance at Henry Kissinger’s 100th birthday.
“I thought a 100th birthday party for somebody would end early,” Mitchell confesses. “But it didn’t.”
Cabrera, Jansing, Tur, Mitchell have all found time to get together more frequently in recent weeks. They, along with their colleague, José Díaz-Balart, are playing a more critical role at MSNBC — but not in hours when such significance might be expected.

Guevara was arrested by Italian state police in Venice on Saturday, Sept. 2, a day before he was set to receive a best young actor honor given out by Filming Italy on Sunday, Sept. 3. A 2003 MSNBC video has resurfaced of a young Vivek Ramaswamy asking Rev. Al Sharpton about his lack of political experience during Sharpton’s run for the 2004 Democratic nomination. The footage has spread on social media as people, including Ramaswamy’s Republican primary opponents, question the candidate’s own lack of experience in professional politics. Ramaswamy’s background is in business.
Ramaswamy, then an 18-year-old Harvard student, was questioning Sharpton at an October 2003 event hosted by former MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews. Ramaswamy began, “Hello, I’m Vivek, and I want to ask you: last week on the show we had Sen. Kerry, and the week before, we had Sen. Edwards. And my question for you is, of all the Democratic candidates out there, why should I vote for the one with the least political experience?”
Sharpton fired back, “Well, you shouldn’t, because I have the most political experience,” to approving laughter from the crowd.

My Fault is a Spanish film written and directed by Domingo González and is based on the novel by Mercedes Ron. It stars Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara.
A film that goes beyond film criticism and is beyond neorealism, nouvelle vague and all the pedantry you can think of.
Pure “mischievousness” at the service of testosterone, estrogen, and the hottest youth eager to have a very, very good time.
Movie Review
Just by how it begins you already know that this is what it’s all about: a lot of music that requires pills to be able to enjoy it, car races, bands and a pinch of class struggle to, all mixed with a very badass sauce, come up with this film designed only and exclusively for young people.
Poor quality in the dialogues and situations… good editing, though. Characters that go nowhere, a story that could have been spared…...

Former Tucker Carlson producer Abby Grossberg had a lot to say about her ex-boss, detailing her experience with the noxious behind-the-scenes culture of Tucker Carlson Tonight in an interview with MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace on Tuesday.
Grossberg filed two explosive lawsuits against Fox News in March. She alleges that the network coerced her into changing her deposition to lawyers for Dominion Voting Systems and that she was the victim of a pervasive culture of misogyny and workplace discrimination while working as a producer for host Maria Bartiromo, and now-former host Tucker Carlson.

On “The Late Show” Wednesday, Stephen Colbert used his monologue to discuss the uncertain situation between Russia and Ukraine. Or, more specifically, he spent a few minutes roasting cable news channels for endless, breathless, time-filling coverage that doesn’t actually inform anyone of anything. We laughed more than once.
By now you know that tensions between Russia and Ukraine — well, mainly from Russia at Ukraine — have worsened in recent weeks, and plenty of national security commentator types worry Russia might invade. And just today, Russia claims it is withdrawing troops from the border with Ukraine, while American authorities say that might not be true. It’s a complicated situation, and if you need it here’s a pretty decent explainer.
Colbert brought the audience up to speed, noted how uncertain the whole thing is, and then, dripping with sarcasm, said, “Thank goodness America’s cable news channels are covering the...

Nicolle Wallace has revealed that when she got fired from The View in July, she found out just like everyone else did – by reading about it in the press.
"They never called me," Wallace admitted to Variety on Thursday when asked what ABC had told her about her termination.
Wallace explained that the night Variety had run a story on her firing, ABC summoned her agent and offered her a contributor role.
The former co-host also shared that the network offered her a role at ABC News, but she turned both down when she realized there was no room for negotiation.

Nicole Wallace helped Raven-Symoné keep her ego in check Monday. During The View's Hot Topics segment, the co-hosts discussed Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who recently wrote an article announcing that he will no longer be taking selfies with people. "I mean, I don't have a problem with selfies as long as you ask me first," Raven-Symoné said. "I actually don't like signing my name anymore because my hand gets a cramp. If you want me to vote for you—" Before she could finish her sentence, Wallace interrupted her co-host to ask, "Are you that famous?" The audience laughed, and thankfully, Raven-Symoné did, too. "I'm...
