- Katherine Kampko, born as Katherine "Crawford" in South Africa on January 29th 1990, is an actor and model in California. Katherine traveled to the United states in the late 90's to early 2000's. After a short while she then chose to serve in the United States Military. After an honorable Medical discharge and amputation a short while later, Crawford quickly recovered, learning to walk, then transition to running very quickly. Katherine has since appeared as a spokes-model for prosthetic fairings, participated in the Rawbeauty campaign, and was featured in Oprah magazine. Her images have graced covers and have been featured inside popular prosthetic publications worldwide, as well as galleries in New York and Florida. She is a vocal advocate for equality and inclusion in fashion as well as realistic portrayal of Veterans and individuals living with disabilities in media. Katherine made the move to Los Angeles in 2013, in hopes to begin a career in film and television and has since made appearances on television displaying her remarkable talent. She is most recognized for her roles as "Jess Okar": The amputee surfer in the highly criticized 'mockumentary', Discovery Channels Shark Week Megalodon: The monster Shark Lives, USA's Graceland as "Madison", a model struggling with drug addiction due to the loss of her lower left leg and for her interview in Diffability Hollywood, a documentary focusing on disability in film.
