- Cris has graded at many martial arts to an expert level including Taekwondo and Esgrima (Filipino sticks- both single and double stick) as well as 30 plus years over all training including Togakure ninjitsu,Irish stick (the Shillelagh), Fudoshin Ryu, kick boxing, Highland broadsword and dirk, bokken, hanbo and bo.

- His sons Kieran and Noah are also an actor, they have appeared together 18 times thus far; starting with shared lead roles with another actor in the short film "Refuge" in which Kieran and Cris played father and son.
