While Drive to Survive has sped to a successful six seasons on the Netflix platform and been given credit for a surge in interest in motor racing, particular in the US, the same production team has stumbled to a halt with the tennis world, and now The Times of London reports that documentary series Break Point has been cancelled after just two seasons, citing poor ratings and lack of access to the sport’s leading figures.
Everything looked hopeful when the series was first announced by Netflix in January 2022, hot on the heels of the ratings blockbuster Drive to Survive. Nick Kyrgios and Coco Gauff were two of the stars featured in the first season of Break Point, and tennis governing bodies united to help bring the sport to screen. In March 2023, the series was renewed for a second season that was released in January 2024.

The 2024 Australian Open is the most anticipated of the lot with major talking points headlining the showpiece event that will commence on Sunday, January 14, 2024, marking the first time that the year's first Grand Slam will have a weekend start.
As is the norm, the Australian Open is played on outdoor hard courts at Melbourne Park, with a 128-player singles field expected to converge there in the early weeks of January. The entry list for the tournament has been released.

Alex de Minaur took on Novak Djokovic at the 2024 United Cup and actually beat him, which was the biggest win of his career.
At the time of the match, Djokovic was number one on the Atp Tour, which means that this was the first time that de Minaur actually beat a reigning world number one.
The match itself has a lot of caveats that should be mentioned, such as Djokovic dealing with a wrist injury that clearly hampered him. He only won one point on the first serve of de Minaur in the entire match and that happened in the final game of the match.
That should tell you that Djokovic was severely hampered. Even so, it was a great moment for de Minaur, and it's quite significant for Australian tennis as well. It's the first time that an Australian man bested the world number one on home soil since 1996.

Nick Kyrgios thinks he knows why Novak Djokovic sustained an injury issue at the 2024 United Cup.
Djokovic lost to Australian No. 1 Alex de Minaur at the event in straight sets. The 24-time Grand Slam champion had issues with his wrist during the match, but still finished the contest.
This is the second match in a row that the world No. 1 has encountered the problem. Djokovic also had a scare with his wrist in his previous singles match at the United Cup against Czech Republic's Jiri Lehecka.
Kyrgios has been away from tennis for a long time now. Repeated injury issues mean the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up has only played one match in the last 12 months, which was an unsuccessful comeback attempt in Stuttgart in June.
However, the 28-year-old has remained active by providing his opinions on social media, and Kyrgios released a tweet giving his view about why Djokovic picked up a wrist problem.

January last year not only brought us a lot of tennis in Australia but also brought us the first season of Break Point, the Netflix tennis docu-series, which will air its second season in the coming weeks.
It was certainly an interesting watch for those who don't follow tennis as much, but as many pointed out, the first season of Break Point didn't show much of what die-hard tennis fans didn't know.
Sure, we saw how it looked from the inside, but it wasn't that revelatory. Despite all that, the series proved a success which is why it will be returning for a second season.
The first glimpse of the new season was posted by Netflix on social media, and it received some interesting responses. Fans were excited to see some newcomers such as Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune, who are the future of tennis.

Holger Rune has announced that one of Roger Federer's ex-coaches has been added to his team for the new season.
The Danish star already generated attention this year when six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker became his coach. Becker, who has made headlines recently with a war of words with Nick Kyrgios, will continue to coach Rune in 2024.
Adding someone of Severin Luthi's stature to work with Becker and the rest of Rune's team is an unexpected but exciting announcement for last year's Paris Masters champion.
Few other players can match the experience Rune now has in his camp. Luthi was a member of Federer's coaching team for 15 years. This was from 2007 until the Swiss legend's retirement from the sport in 2022, with Luthi becoming one of Federer's most trusted confidants on the Atp Tour.
Luthi was on Federer's coaching team for 11 of the 20 Grand Slams that the tennis legend won.

Nick Kyrgios is trying to back his point in the recent days, after he said that former legends would struggle today on the Atp Tour.
Only around a week ago, the Australian said that former legends wouldn't thrive in current days, saying the likes of Novak Djokovic would dominate against Pete Sampras.
As an example, Kyrgios used the speed of the first serve that players today reach, comparing it to slower serves in the past. However, one thing he forgot to consider is how much better equipment players have these days.
After his comments, Boris Becker responded swiftly, as he wasn't happy with the Australian's comments. It didn't take too long before Kyrgios responded, and since then, the two have exchanged quite a few messages on social media.
But now, another former world no. 1 joined the conversation. Two-time Grand Slam champion and Olympics gold medalist, Yevgeny Kafelnikov used a similar argument to Becker,...

Nick Kyrgios doesn't owe anybody anything, according to himself, as he dismissed Boris Becker's claims about owing his position to those who came before him.
For the past few days, Nick Kyrgios and Boris Becker have been trading blows on social media after initial comments by Kyrgios didn't sit well with Becker. To start, the Australian compared eras in an interview, claiming how today's players, to whom he belongs, are better than past legends.
One of the older players he mentioned was Becker, who would struggle in today's tennis per Kyrgios, which is likely true, but it's a very nuanced take that has the least amount to do with the talent of the legendary German.
Becker responded to that, after which Kyrgios responded to that, and Becker did once more. In the final response, the German argued that the older generations contributed to making tennis what it is today,...

Nick Kyrgios wasn't going to let Boris Becker's latest comment on him slide, which is why he responded on social media once more.
This year has been quite exciting in tennis, but nobody really thought that a clash between Kyrgios and Becker would happen. Well, it did, and it started when Kyrgios made some comments comparing eras in tennis and how today's players are better than those before.
Becker didn't take that kindly because he was one of the players Kyrgios named, and he responded to the Australian and then added more context in a recent Eurosport podcast. Kyrgios, of course, responded to Becker on social media once more.
Becker argued that players like himself allowed Kyrgios to live the way he does despite not playing for a full year. According to Becker, the former players elevated the sport to this level but Kyrgios wasn't having any of that.

Boris Becker and Nick Kyrgios have been beefing on social media lately after the Australian commented about former tennis greats, including the German.
Kyrgios is an outspoken individual who doesn't particularly care whether you like that. He's going to tell you what he thinks, and he certainly did in a recent interview with the Athletic when he compared tennis eras.
While tennis stars are generally quite complimentary of past legends, Kyrgios dissed the legacy of Becker and others by implying that they would struggle today.
Obviously, the comments went viral, with some agreeing with him and some disagreeing with him. At face value, the quality of tennis today is probably greater than in the past as simply everything evolved.
There is better equipment, better training, and better nutrition today, so it's natural to assume that today's tennis players are superior to those in the past.
And yet, comparing eras doesn't work.

Nick Kyrgios is one of the best tennis players in the world and a well-known person, and he's been raising awareness about mental issues recently.
Kyrgios recently withdrew from the 2024 Australian Open, but he's been spending a lot of time in media recently, talking on multiple podcasts or shows, even creating an OnlyFans account.
One of those shows was Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, where Kyrgios talked about his mental issues in the past, at times when he was referred to as the "bad boy of tennis," but no one realized the implications of that.
"I was drinking every night. You know, just at the time I thought it was just fun, but it wasn't fun. It was just self-inflicted pain. And I had friends around me telling me it wasn't healthy, and I ignored them."

On one of those appearances, Kyrgios said that Novak Djokovic would destroy the likes of Pete Sampras, claiming that many former tennis greats would struggle in this era.
However, many quickly started discussing whether Kyrgios' comments were fair since eras are difficult to compare, and one of the former players who jumped in was Boris Becker, who immediately called out the Australian's "credibility."
But he wasn't the only one, as Serena Williams' former coach and former doubles world no. 1, Rennae Stubbs, also commented on the matter, supporting Becker's claims about eras being incomparable.

Nick Kyrgios has been an outspoken critic of tennis players on both tours receiving equal pay and has latched onto that topic in a recent interview with the Athletic.
The discourse about pay inequity has ruffled the feathers of many Wta players who believe they should be compensated fairly for their efforts and skills as men. One of the ways in which sports promote gender equity is to allow the inclusivity of women to play and receive equal pay.
But traditionally, women have faced considerable discrepancies in monetary incentives in sports, particularly tennis, where only a handful of tournaments offer pay equal to that of their male counterparts. The US Open was the first tennis tournament to set precedence 50 years ago.
Since then, the other three major tournaments followed suit. Some combined Atp and Wta 1000 events, like Indian Wells, Miami, and Madrid, have also adopted this module. But discussions to...

Nick Kyrgios shared his intentions to leave the Atp and join a Saudi Arabia-backed tour if such an organisation were to launch in the future.

When reflecting on the rise of Saudi-Arabian influence in elite-level sport, which has seen the country's Public Investment Fund also integrate golf and football, Kyrgios appeared to support the initiative.
In an interview with the Athletic, the Australian player even said he would not hesitate to join a Saudi-backed tennis competition.
"I would have been the first one to jump off. I would have gone. I would have just let the Atp ship sink."
Kyrgios told the...

Nick Kyrgios explained that the dream of becoming an elite-level tennis player and defeating the 'Big Three' never seemed like a possibility when he was younger.
However, now the Australian feels he could have been more professional on the Atp Tour. In 2023, Kyrgios endured one of his toughest seasons in professional tennis as the 28-year-old has largely been absent due to ongoing injuries.
As a result, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist has not played at any of this year's Grand Slams and only lost his only competitive match of the campaign. In recent weeks, Kyrgios has caused controversy by focussing on other ventures outside of tennis, such as starting an OnlyFans profile.
But, he has also been reflective on his achievements in professional tennis and opened up about some career highlights on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast recently, which he never believed would become a reality.
"Look, tennis was, it was such an interesting journey.

Alex de Minaur won his second Newcombe Medal for his contributions to Australian tennis throughout 2023.
In 2018, the 24-year-old won his first Newcombe Medal, which he shared with former Australian Wta player and three-time Grand Slam winner Ashleigh Barty. The award recognizes the most talented and successful Australian tennis players each year.
A second Newcombe Medal for de Minaur comes after his most consistent season to date, where he won his first Atp 500 event at the Acapulco Open and helped Australia to reach the Davis Cup final in November.
When speaking about his second Newcombe Medal, and whilst reflecting on his achievement, de Minaur expressed gratitude for receiving the award yet again and shared his thanks to the medal's namesake, John 'Newk' Newcombe.
"I'm very sad that I wasn't able to attend the Newcombe Medal this year and I'm extremely grateful for this amazing award,. It's been a great year, not only for myself,...

Nick Kyrgios doesn't have a tennis coach, and according to former Serena Williams' coach, Rick Macci, he doesn't need one.
Nick Kyrgios didn't have a tennis coach for the longest time because he found the experience unsatisfactory. The Australian is a character who has a distinct way of doing things, and it clashes pretty regularly with what a regular tennis coach would want him to do.
He's been quite open about the way he does things, and it's not the typical way. He doesn't warm up for matches, he doesn't have a coach, and he doesn't really train as hard as some other tennis players, but his tremendous talent is good enough with the things he does to be one of the best players in the world.
At this point in his career, he won't change because it's been like this for a very long time. Rick Macci, who spoke exclusively to Tennis Infinity,...

Nick Kyrgios has been called the bad boy of tennis for a very long time, and it's not a nickname he's really fond of.
Kyrgios is a character and an acquired taste. There is no point arguing against that, but all in all, he's not what many paint him to be. He looked bad because tennis is quite a rigid sport where emotion and passion are generally discouraged, which makes those who are a little bit passionate look bad.
There's a lot of passion in that man, and quite a few times, it boiled over. That and the way he handled things earlier in his career earned him the nickname 'Bad Boy of Tennis,' which he kind of embraced at the start but really grew to dislike over the years.
He was a guest on the On Purpose podcast with Jay Shetty, where he talked about many things, including that nickname.

Nick Kyrgios won't be playing at the 2024 Australian Open as he didn't recover in time, but he'll likely be in Melbourne as a commentator.
Kyrgios last played earlier this year at the Stuttgart Open, and it will end up being the only match he will play the whole year. That's pretty heartbreaking because this year was supposed to be one where he solidified himself as one of the best in the world.
He returned in style in 2022 but couldn't repeat it this year as injuries proved too much to overcome. He had a lot of fun off the courts, though, and proved in quite good spirits lately.
He opened an Only Fans account, where he ultimately broke the news about missing the Australian Open. Missing the event was described as heartbreaking as he has many great memories there, but ultimately, getting back is what matters most.

Nick Kyrgios is in Miami this week for Art Week, among other things, and he'll need to be a bit careful to avoid partying a bit too much.
Kyrgios is having a blast right now, even though many would prefer him to be in Australia grinding for the Australian Open. He's not because he won't play, per his own admission on OnlyFans.
This week, Kyrgios is in Miami for Art Week and a pickleball event for a team that he co-owns. The Australian has been firmly in the business sphere as of recently, with co-ownership of several sports teams.
During Art Week, when talking to Pagesix, Kyrgios admitted to being a party animal, meaning he'll have to be careful not to do too much partying.
I am a bit of a party animal. I don’t know when to stop. I am either all out, or I am nothing at all.

Former Australian Atp player Paul McNamee doesn't think Nick Kyrgios will be back to his best before Wimbledon, which is quite a claim.
We don't really know whether McNamee knows anything that we don't or not, but the Australian is there on the ground and probably hears more chatter about it than most people.
We know that Kyrgios isn't practicing right now. He's not one to practice much generally, but if he was really coming back soon, he'd be working on his game by now.
If you add what Craig Tiley said about him and what Kyrgios recently admitted during his Tennis Channel gig - you know he isn't coming back anytime soon.
He would confirm his exit from the 2024 Australian Open on Saturday, further confirming the words of McNamee. The Sunshine Double seems like the next logical target, but McNamee thinks Wimbledon is more likely. It's a pretty good...

One of the reasons why Nick Kyrgios plays tennis is for money, and that's not a secret, it's also the reason why he's appalled by the way tennis players make money.
When news about Saudi Arabia entering tennis broke a few months ago, Nick Kyrgios was the first to rejoice. His concern was his pocket, which would benefit from that move, and that's why he endorsed it.
Fair play. It's something he's been open about for many years. The Australian is not the only one, though, as many other players would like to be paid a bit more than they are.
Realistically, probably every person in the world would like that, but it's not always feasible. Tennis has ways to improve, which is something Novak Djokovic talked about.

Nick Kyrgios has officially announced that he will miss the 2024 Australian Open and it was on his new OnlyFans account.
The life of Nick Kyrgios is truly one for the cinemas because it keeps getting more interesting. A few days ago, the Australian opened his official OnlyFans account to build a community for his fans.
He will give fans an all-access view into his life and tennis career, and he's starting with a pretty big first announcement on the platform.
The Australian confirmed what has been speculated about for weeks now - he's missing the 2024 Australian Open. The writings for this one were on the wall for a while.
His recent comments on the Tennis Channel didn't inspire much hope in fans. Australian Open director Craig Tiley didn't help with his recent comments, and when his name was not on the entry list, we kind of knew what was going to happen.

Nick Kyrgios has created an OnlyFans profile, and he explained why he has it, as it was a move that surprised many of his fans.
OnlyFans has been conceived as a pretty interesting platform allowing anybody to connect with their fans. The platform pretty quickly devolved into an adult entertainment app, where the majority of content was of that nature.
Not all of it is adult entertainment, though, as there are other people like musicians, painters, and similar stuff. As of recently, Nick Kyrgios is also an OnlyFans creator.
The reason why he joined, though, wasn't initially known, but he let it be known pretty quickly. In Kyrgios's mind, joining the platform is a no-brainer as he believes that they are revolutionizing social media.
He also signed a deal with the company so he might have gotten some 'incentive' to sign as well.

Thanasi Kokkinakis would love to play with Nick Kyrgios in Melbourne, but it depends on the health of his best mate on the Atp Tour.
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis have made some good memories in Melbourne together, winning the 2022 Australian Open doubles trophy. It came out of nowhere and is one of the fondest memories for both players but the fans would like to see more.
After Jason Kubler and Rinky Hijikata won the event last year, the Aussie crowd won't settle for foreign champions. They want the Special Ks back, and Kokkinakis is certainly open to it.
As he prepares for the new season in his native country, the Australian spoke to The Age with the 2024 season on his mind.
We'll see if he's healthy. If he's healthy, we'd love to play.

Fans are hoping to see Kyrgios play at the event, but it seems rather unlikely.

Felix Auger-Aliassime had a really strong 2022 campaign, but that didn't happen this year with many bad performances.
Felix Auger-Aliassime's career has had a strange trajectory so far. He showed his talents fairly early in his career but then seemingly hit a wall. It wasn't until last year that the floodgates opened properly, and the Canadian found himself among the best at the Atp Finals.
He finished that year on a really high note, leading Canada to the Davis Cup trophy after playing pretty well at the Atp Finals as well. The win total for the year was 64 with 28 losses; his best year since becoming a pro.
Many people assumed that 2023 would be even better, and he certainly started well at the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi, besting Nick Kyrgios, Dominic Thiem, and Alexander Zverev in straight sets.
He did pretty fine at the start of the year, but as it went on,...

Nick Kyrgios made a surprising announcement when he announced that he's launching his own OnlyFans account.
OnlyFans is a popular social media platform, often tied to content creators posting spicy, 18+, content on their accounts. However, the platform is not only intended for that type of content, as it was initially meant to offer an exclusive "behind the scenes" for fans.
While spending a lot of time away from the tennis courts and competition on the Atp Tour, Kyrgios made a decision to join the platform, and offer his fans interesting content from his own life.
It's a very similar move to Emma Raducanu, who is part of a different platform, where she offers tennis lessons. The Australian launched his account only a few hours ago, and he made an announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
"It just got a whole lot crazier… join me on onlyfans! It’s free to subscribe for everyone!

The 2024 Australian Open men's entry list was released on Wednesday, and the most notable absentee was that of home crowd favorite Nick Kyrgios.
Next month's Australian Open is set to commence on January 14, marking the first time that the tournament will have a Sunday start. Kyrgios, a former doubles champion at the tournament, was expected to shoulder the country's biggest hopes in singles.
It is still theoretically possible that Kyrgios could play by being granted a wild card, but realistically, that looks very unlikely at this point. Having played just one match last season, the 28-year-old spent more time on the treatment table nursing a knee injury and a debilitating wrist issue.
His chances of playing in Melbourne are diminishing with each passing day, and the biggest hint that Kyrgios might now face the inevitable withdrawal is that he hasn't signed up for any warm-up events at the start of...

Andrey Rublev is quite known for his semi-regular outburst, which usually ends with a bloody knee and he finally addressed why the knee is the target of his rage.
Nobody can dispute that Rublev approaches tennis with a lot of passion because he showed it. He wears his emotions on his sleeve while on the court, especially. While it's not specific to Rublev, he has a rather signature way of dealing with his anger.
While most players usually unleash their anger on the court or the racquet, Rublev tends to make himself a target. The knees, in particular, carry the brunt of the damage most of the time, but not always. Just recently, he bloodied his knee at the Atp Finals, so much so that even Nick Kyrgios called it crazy.
In a recent interview with Championat, Rublev addressed something that usually gives people a lot of pause when it happens.

Nick Kyrgios wrote a heartfelt message to Naomi Osaka ahead of her anticipated comeback in the 2024 season.
Nick Kyrgios is currently away from tennis and is working on his own tennis comeback, which doesn't really have a clear timeline. Things are much clearer for Osaka, who will be making her return in less than 30 days in the country that Kyrgios calls home.
She has been diligently preparing for her tennis comeback for weeks. The Japanese player is back home in Los Angeles preparing for the event, and that's where Kyrgios has been recently, too.
He worked for the Tennis Channel during the Atp Finals, with the company being based out of California. The Australian stopped by Osaka to see what was up and shared an encouraging message for her on social media with an accompanying photo of himself talking to Osaka at her house.

Nick Kyrgios is currently away from tennis and is working on his own tennis comeback, which doesn't really have a clear timeline. Things are much clearer for Osaka, who will be making her return in less than 30 days in the country that Kyrgios calls home.

Nick Kyrgios has flirted with the idea of early retirement quite often, but according to his most recent interview, it's not happening anytime soon.
Nick Kyrgios used to be quite critical of tennis earlier in his career, bashing the sport as something he doesn't care about. While he's mellowed over time, the Australian is still open about not pushing himself too much for the sport.
He's giving it his all, but he's not going as hard as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and others. Early retirement was always on Kyrgios's mind, and he talked about it publicly, but he seems to be against it, according to his most recent interview with Piers Morgan.
I definitely don't see myself going anywhere in the near future. I want to get back on the Tour and have one to two more really good years, and I think that's possible.
Kyrgios is still pretty young in terms of tennis,...

At the 2022 Wimbledon Championship, Nick Kyrgios opted to eat sushi during his press conference, a move for which he received a lot of backlash.
Life of a professional athlete is very complex, and that's why they often have to multitask, to complete all the necessary tasks and ensure the best possible performance.
One of those moment was seen also at the 2022 Wimbledon, when Kyrgios defeated Great Britain's Paul Jubb in the opening round, 3-6, 6-1, 7-5, 6-7(3), 7-5, in what was an over three-hour drama-filled battle.
When attending a post-match press conference, the Australian brought sushi with him, something that many tennis fans did not appreciate as they found it disrespectful towards the journalists.
However, Kyrgios didn't see the move as disrespectful, as from his point of view, he was just trying to multitask and did not particularly enjoy being in the spotlight for an action that he found normal,...

Holger Rune is quite a passionate player who shows a wide array of emotions on the court, something he needs to keep doing, according to a tennis legend.
Holger Rune hasn't been in tennis for a long time, but the Dane has already had a few controversies. He's shown a lot of emotion on the court, ranging from pure rage to extreme joy, which some have criticized.
We've all gotten used to the stoic tennis players of the past, but this new generation brings a lot of fire to the game. Rune is one of those players that burns really hot, and it's earned him a fair share of criticism in the past.
He's been branded as cocky, disrespectful, and all sorts of other things which aren't really true. One former legend of the sport, Jimmy Connors, gave him advice when the Dane took part in his podcast recently.
I’m gonna say this,...

Comparisons are all the rage in the 21st century; however, Nick Kyrgios dismisses the comparison made between himself and John McEnroe.
As a player who came in arguing a lot with umpires and throwing tantrums often, Kyrgios obviously got compared to John McEnroe, who was one of the first players on the Atp Tour known as a hothead.
While some similarities are obvious, there are some pretty distinct differences between players. McEnroe had far more success as a tennis player because he took it way more seriously than Kyrgios.
His passion for winning was far greater than that of Kyrgios, who always maintained a lukewarm stance on his tennis career.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter because they are different people and different players. Kyrgios himself dismissed the comparison in a recent interview with Piers Morgan.
I don't think I've ever been defaulted from a match. He broke all his rackets and...

Nick Kyrgios used to be the villain of tennis, and while it initially motivated him, it became rather tiresome after a while.
Humans are very complex creatures, and while most of us have a spiteful side, the truth is that support matters more than anything else. Kyrgios was able to see that in his career, which began with many excited about this big talent coming from Down Under.
Rather quickly, his on-court antics soured a good chunk of the tennis fanbase, so he became known as the villain of tennis. There was very little support coming through compared to now, which sees him getting cheered on basically anywhere he goes.
In a surprise interview with Piers Morgan, Kyrgios drew parallels between the two experiences.
You feel like the bad guy in a movie, you feel like the main villain and I love it. When I go out to stadiums around the world now,...

Nick Kyrgios used to be an extremely polarizing figure that fans either loved or hated, though mostly it was the latter.
Kyrgios showed up in the tennis world as a supremely talented player but not very disciplined, at least in tennis terms. He used to be quite explosive on the court, both with his tennis but also his temper, which created plenty of controversies.
Fast forward to now, Kyrgios is a more mature person with a more balanced approach, though the fire and explosiveness do come out at times. In an interview with Piers Morgan, Kyrgios looked back on that time when he was the bad boy of tennis.
Back in the day when I used to show up to places it was like, even for practice, I needed extra security guards compared to the other players because of the hate. People used to hate seeing me on the courts.

Nick Kyrgios has opened up on the support given to him by former World No. 1 Andy Murray during his turbulent period battling his mental health.
The flamboyant Australian had been touted as the next big thing in men's tennis when he burst onto the scene at Wimbledon almost a decade ago when he upset 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and reached the quarterfinal.
But his career was full of more lows than highs and in 2019, he hit rock bottom. Following a four-set defeat to Nadal in a Wimbledon rematch, Kyrgios struggled to cope with his mental health and contemplated suicide.
Kyrgios had been playing with a long sleeve on his right arm to conceal evidence of self-harm and was prescribed anti-depressants when he was admitted to a psychiatric ward in London. Luckily for Kyrgios, he found a fellow tennis player who noticed the anomalies in his mood and behavior.

There are many ways by which tennis players release emotions on a tennis court, but the most detestable is probably breaking a racket.
To support this point, you only need to listen to the crowd and how badly received this action is. A chorus of boos swiftly follows, and the chair umpire would issue a code violation for racket abuse. For club players, breaking a tennis racket places a financial burden on them as they need to purchase a new one.
The Atp states in its 2022 rulebook that professional players would be subjected to a fine of up to $500 for each violation of racket and equipment abuse. Australia's Nick Kyrgios is a name that stands out when discussions about racket smashing are thrown up.
Recently, Kyrgios shared his opinion about the topic on air while serving as a temporary analyst for Tennis Channel's coverage of the Atp Finals. Tempers can boil over in tennis matches,...
