Tumse Na Ho Pyega (streaming on Disney+Hotstar)
Starring Ishwak Singh, Mahima Makwana, Gaurav Pandey, Gurpreet Saini , Karan Jotwani
Directed by Abhishek Sinha
It is sad and annoying to see so many talented people coming up with a film so dull and unfunny it gives a bad reputation to past bromances like Dil Chahta Hai and Sholay.
Forget Jai and Veeru, the three friends in Tumse Na Ho Payega (a suitable title indeed) don’t even look like long-standing friends. They seem more three unlikely people thrown together on the same table at a boring party by fluke. They are played by actors who want us to know that they know how to act. Every word they utter is punctuated and eye-rolling.
The main protagonist Gaurav (Ishwak Singh) speaks directly to us the audience, like Wamiqa Gabbi in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Charlie Chopra who keeps looking into the camera and talking,...

‘Tumse Na Ho Payega’ (2023) Review: Misses Its Mark Due To A Lukewarm Approach To An Inspiring Story
Every good movie is infused with a unique spirit that is very hard to miss. If it’s there, one senses it. It’s in the rhythm and pacing of every shot in every scene. It cannot be confused with sentimentality flooding the screen. Tumse Na Ho Payega is another lifeless film from writers Nikhil Mehrotra and Nitesh Tiwari. The duo had worked as writers in the latter’s directorial venture Bawaal, which was so stilted in its metaphors that it became preposterous. This one, directed by Abhishek Sinha, is perhaps less jarring, but it’s a bit of a straight story. It would be more accurate to say that the complex story, which is inspired by Varul Agarwal’s book How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded A Million Dollar Company, is made into a dull one by the writers. Varun Agarwal is an entrepreneur whose story has inspired...

New Delhi, July 14 (Ians) The purpose of a trial is to ensure that the defendant gets a fair assessment of all evidence against him or her, and so, it is a structured process wherein the facts of a case are presented to a jury, which decides if the defendant is guilty or not. If the ruling in the case is found to be not maintainable, then it can be challenged in a higher court.
The only difference is that unlike in the US, India does not have a trial by jury system!

Understandably then, the eight-episode Disney+ Hotstar series,...

Kuchh abhi aadhe hum hain
Kuchh to adhoore tum bhi ho
Sath tera mil jaaye jo
Zindagi poori tab ho
Aayi phoolon ke ras mein naha ke
Laayi bheeni si khushbu chura ke
Teri aankhon mein hai
Halka sa nasha
Tera roop meri
Nazron mein basa haan haan
Mere khayalon ki malika
Mere khayalon ki malika
Charon taraf teri chhaiyan re
Thaam le aake bahiyan
Charon taraf teri chhaiyan re
Chhaiyan haan
Haan kusoor hum kar lete hain
Galtiyan kuchh tum bhi karo
Sath tera mil jaaye jo
Zindagi poori tab ho
Jaadu chhaya hai tera jaadu
Kaabu dil pe nahi hai kaabu
Sapnon ki pari itna to bata
Rehti hai kahan...

It is said and believed that cinema’s main purpose is to entertain people. But the history of Hindi cinema tells us that cinema isn’t just meant to entertain, but it is also a medium to make people think about their own issues, give out social messages and change rigid perceptions about society.
That is what ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ succeeds in doing in a light-hearted way.
‘Saroj Ka Rishta’, directed by Abhishek Saxena, is a comedy film but it succeeds in making the viewer both smile and also question people’s perception about ‘overweight’ girls. And that’s the biggest strength and the beauty of the film.
‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ is a story of a girl named Saroj who lives in the city of Ghaziabad. On the surface, she is a common girl, like every other girl living in the city, but her being overweight is what gets noticed...

Starring Tiger Shroff,Nathan Jones, Amrita Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, K K Menon
Directed by Remo D’souza
It isn’t a bird. It isn’t a plane. And it’s definitely not Superman. Why must the desi super-hero behave like a country-cousin of his Hollywood counterpart?
Remo D’souza who makes indigenous films based on western concepts such as the dance-competition genre which he made into Abcd (it was actually Ka Kha Ga Gha), here turns the super-hero genre on its head…. And Remo has a ball coiling twisting twirling Tiger Shroff—we all know how mouldable he is-in a ball of helpless heroism.
Tiger Shroff is the light of this light-hearted take on super-heroism. The young dancer-fighter can take a joke on himself even if it shows him to be less than heroic. There is a whole chunk of satirical heroism in the narrative where Aman/Flying Jatt goes...

The music of Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film A Flying Jatt has created quite a stir already. The newly released song, Bhangda Pa, is picturized on Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez and also features co-actors Amrita Singh and Gaurav Pandey.
Having showcased their skills in the film’s other songs, including Beat Pe Booty, Tiger and Jacqueline are now seen busting out traditional Punjabi Bhangra moves with a twist. With the director-choreographer Remo D’ Souza at the helm of things, the celebratory video song sees Punjabi folk dance spiced up with Michael Jackson’s moves and served in a hip-hop style.
Tiger tweeted and called this song his favorite:
My favourite fun dance number out now https://t.co/alZCz3d3rm
— Tiger Shroff (@iTIGERSHROFF) August 16, 2016
Fernandez chimed in with her own tweet saying:
Raise your hands & feel the vibes! Dance your heart out with #BhangdaPa! https://t.co/sd...
