Every year, Strictly Come Dancing returns to glitz up our Saturday nights... and every year, fans are treated to another movie special.
First introduced in 2014, Strictly’s Movie Week sees the contestants perform a selection of dances inspired by the biggest Hollywood blockbusters, with comedy, action and kids films all being given the Strictly treatment over the years.
But what makes for a really good Movie Week performance? Looking the part is obviously key, and you can always expect this theme to bring out some of the best hair, make-up and costumes that Strictly has to offer.
Ultimately, however, it’s the dancing being marked, with the best performances managing to show off the celebrity’s skill – something they often haven’t quite found yet, with Movie Week usually coming around the third week in the competition – while also featuring choreography that captures the essence of the films they’re paying tribute to.

Strictly Come Dancing feels like it's ages away, so thank you to the BBC for keeping us going by releasing this photograph of the professional dancers in training.
The pros don't even know who they'll be competing with yet, but they're already hitting the dance studios to keep limber (and pose for pictures, obviously).
The BBC posted the snap on Twitter and pointed out that it's our first glimpse at new pros Otlile Mabuse, Giovanni Pernice and Dancing with the Stars alum Gleb Savchenko.
The photo also shows Ola Jordan looking in good health after she picked up a knee injury during training for Channel 4's The Jump at the end of last year; she later admitted that she feared she might never walk again.

Scott Mills has said that Zoe Ball was "terrified" about hosting Strictly Come Dancing.
Ball has stepped in to front the Saturday and Sunday shows with Tess Daly, after co-presenter Claudia Winkleman's daughter was involved in an accident.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy at the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, Mills said: "It's awful about Claudia, because I think she is the best thing to happen to Strictly.
"However, Zoe Ball is a mate of mine and she was really nervous, you know? The first one she did - even though she worked on [BBC Two's It Takes Two].
"Doing the BBC One show is a big deal. It was Halloween, her first one, and she was terrified. But she is so natural and so lovely and just herself on television. And even if she's scared, she makes it look effortless. I've admired her for years and years and she's just doing amazingly.

Sometimes it's the smallest things that make you laugh uncontrollably...
Cue Alison Hammond's wardrobe malfunction during last weekend's Strictly Come Dancing.
New footage shown on Wednesday night's (November 5) It Takes Two showed the hilarious moments that followed off camera, after her sleeve accidentally blinded dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec for a moment.
The gaffe occurred as the pair performed their American Smooth to Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' a second time against Scott Mills and Joanne Clifton in the bottom two.
Fortunately the malfunction didn't cause the 39-year-old to be voted off.

Greg James has said Scott Mills is getting an "unfair mauling" on Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking to Digital Spy and others at Radio 1's Teen Awards on Sunday (October 19), the DJ revealed that he's been watching the show.
"I watched him [Scott Mills] last night, I think he's getting an unfair mauling," James said.
"But I think that might be playing in his favour because people are going, 'Do you know what? It's not as bad as they're saying'.
"I'm enjoying watching him do it, and he seems to be having a lot of fun doing it as well."
Mills scored 15 points on Saturday's show (October 18) for his American Smooth with dance partner Joanne Clifton.
James previously revealed that he turned down the chance to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

In an interview with Zoe Ball on It Takes Two, Mills said: "I'll tell you why it was such fun, apart from the outfit, the whole thing and the song which is kind of a kids' song. It was the first time I hadn't felt absolutely terrified.
"It's the third time I've done it and you get used to what it's going to feel like, with the audience and the pressure of the judges.
"When you first do it in the first couple of weeks, I honestly can't remember it."
Continuing to speak about the performance, he clarified that he was a little bit nervous before he started.

We're well into the swing of things on Strictly Come Dancing now! Everyone's got the tricky first dance out of the way, but the stakes are very much being raised this weekend, as viewers can now vote to save their favourites.
As it stands, Frankie and Jake are sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard - but needing to gain a few points are Tim, Judy, Jennifer, Gregg and poor Scott Mills, who has the lowest score of 16. Of course, everything could change this week - but it hinges on the dances and songs. So let's see what we're getting...
Alison Hammond & Aljaz Skorjanec
Current score: 26
Dance: Foxtrot
Song: 'I Just Wanna Make Love To You' - Etta James
Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev
Current score: 27

Song: 'Blame' - Calvin Harris and John Newman
Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton

Severrrrrn! Sorry, we're a bit over-excited, because the very first Strictly Come Dancing live show is about to start. We've done the office sweepstake, we've slipped on our sequins and we've even gone for a bit of a spray tan, but we're not the ones who have to take to the floor to cha cha our way to victory.
That responsibility falls on the shoulders of 15 very brave (/stupid) celebrities, and the first batch will be hitting the floor tonight - Tonight - to attempt to impress the judges. But who'll soar and who'll fall as flat as their feet? We're about to find out, so join Digital Spy from 9pm as we bring you all the action from the ballroom...
21:59That's it for tonight though! Who are you loving and loathing at this early stage? Who do you think will triumph? And who are you still excited to see?...

Scott Mills has rejected suggestions that he should be paired with a male dancer on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Radio 1 DJ said that he doesn't agree with those who say he should have a same-sex partner on the BBC series because he is gay.
Speaking to Metro, the DJ said of the claim: "I don't know where that came from. It doesn't bother me either.
"Other gay people have done the show, like Julien Macdonald last year, and no-one said he should have a male dancer.
"I don't know why it's happened with me. I'll do what the producers want me to do. You don't have to dance with a man because you're gay."
When asked whether being the first contestant to have a same-sex partner on the show would add extra pressure, Mills said: "I don't think so. I don't think it's even an issue.

Clips of Mark Wright and Caroline Flack during their first week of Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals has been released.
The pair are among the 15 famous faces competing in the BBC One competition this year.
More than 8 million viewers watched the launch show earlier this month, which saw Wright paired with professional dancer Karen Hauer, while Flack was paired with Pasha Kovalev.
"This is so much harder than I thought it would be," the presenter said, before admitting that he is struggling when the "basic" steps are put together for a routine.
Meanwhile, former Xtra Factor host Flack revealed that she was struggling with some of the hip movements, praising Kovalev for being a "patient teacher".
Describing the rehearsals as "eye-opening", she added: "Genuinely, it is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be."
A clip of Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills and partner Joanne Clifton during their early rehearsals was revealed yesterday.

Scott Mills has said it wouldn't bother him if he was partnered with a male dancer on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Radio 1 DJ is currently in training for the live shows with his partner Joanne Clifton.
Speaking to Digital Spy and others at the National Lottery Awards, he said: "It's up to the producers but I wouldn't care if it was a man or a woman.
"But I think there's something to do with height or weight... I don't know. But it wouldn't bother me."
The 40-year-old also admitted that he is nervous about performing on the Strictly dance floor.
"Part of it is just the actual getting on that floor, because it's so iconic and I found that when I first walked on it I just felt sick," Mills said.
"The audience doesn't particularly worry me, it's just the judges and there's a lot going on."
