Giorgina Mesiano was born in Buenos Aires in 1987 and graduated with a degree in Film and Video Management from the Center for Experi- mental Video and Cinema Research (CIEVYC). She has studied the Short Course of General History of Art in the Friends Association of the National Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires.
Since 2009, she has worked as Executive Production Assistant in films made with the support of INCAA and international funds, as well as international co-producers. Among the most recent films are "A sort of family" (2017) directed by Diego Lerman and premiered at the Toronto Festival, San Sebastian, among others; "My Friend from the park" (2015) directed by Ana Katz, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, "Los Hongos "(2015) by Oscar Ruiza Navia, premiered at the Locarno Festival," Refugiado "(2014) directed by Diego Lerman and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, among others.
She also works as Production Director of documentaries such as "Soi Cumbio" (2010), premiered at the Malaga Festival and "NEY: Nosotros, Ellos y Yo" (2015) directed by Nicolás Avruj, commercially released in movie theaters in Argentina and Brazil. In 2016 she produced the short film "La sombra quema", winner of Historias breves, directed by Ezequiel Yoffe.
