Guthrie Weston Quist

Guthrie fell in love with the movies while working at a local family owned cinema in his hometown in Montana beginning in middle school. He utilized his free passes to watch thousands of films during the cinematic golden age of the 1990's. This inspired him to spend countless hours in his high school's tiny editing room cutting together his own films.
While attending college at Pepperdine University in Malibu, a serendipitous sequence of events led to him spending a summer in the guest house of screen legend Jeff Bridges, where his love of film deepened thanks to Jeff's guidance and mentorship.
Guthrie is now an award winning director and screenwriter having won "Best Fantasy Script" at the Oxford Script Awards chosen by the esteemed faculty of the University of Oxford and "Best First Time Director" at the Madrid International Film Festival.
