Kris Connor is an award-winning celebrity portrait, music and still production photographer based in New York City. Rock legend Bob Mould, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Ben Bernanke and actor Chadwick Boseman are just a few of the icons that have posed for his camera. His portraiture is defined by soft lighting, quickness and simplicity in composition.
Connor served as unit photographer for four years on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel Hour until the show's end in 2015. "Still production lets me use my expertise and experience as a photojournalist," he says. "I can be that fly on the wall, documenting what is happening on the set without being intrusive." Connor routinely photographs a wide range of productions from BET Honors, to NBC's "Meet the Press," to SyFy's "Sharknado 3."
