X Factor finalist Mason Noise could be about to cause yet more controversy as an old music video has emerged online which features the singer as a gun-toting gangster.
The hopeful from Nick Grimshaw's Boys' category - who made it into the judge's final three last weekend - can be seen wearing a mask as he and two others prepare for a heist in his video for 2013 single 'Blow The Doors Off'.
He also holds up a building at gunpoint, fights security guards, and pulls out some seriously smooth moves in front of a private jet in the nine minute-long feature.
A source close to the 22-year-old has since stressed to Digital Spy: "Mason in no way endorses crime or gun culture."
The backlash against Mason began after he criticised the show's editing of his audition while at the Six Chair Challenge, before dropping his mic and storming off the stage.

The X Factor is well and truly under way, and we've been keeping an eye on everything that's been going on...
When is The X Factor on TV?
The show kicked off on August 29 - and in fact, in an attempt to avoid any clashes with Strictly Come Dancing, ITV bosses have unveiled the full schedule right from the off, so we know everything that's coming. You can get a proper look at it here, but auditions continued until Saturday, September 19 with Boot Camp kicking off on September 20. That was the first of five boot camp shows - two set in a country house, and then three episodes of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. They were all on Sundays, to avoid the Rugby World Cup, but then Judges' Houses aired on October 24 and October 25... and the first big live show will kick off on October 31. And the grand final? It's set for Sunday,...

We can all breathe a sigh of relief - X Factor hopeful Mason Noise has revealed that he has made up with Simon Cowell.
The pair did not get on well at the Six Chair Challenge, as Simon called Mason an "arsehole" for complaining about his lack of air time during the auditions.
In fact, Mason literally dropped the mic and walked off stage - but he was given a second chance at the competition when Tom Bleasby withdrew from the Boys category before Judges' Houses.

The X Factor takes us all to Judges' Houses this weekend, as the Top 24 contestants battle it out for a place in the live shows. And Nick Grimshaw swept his top six Boys off to the Cotswolds, where they performed for guest judge Mark Ronson (and posed for some rather snazzy pictures):
1. Ben Clark - 25, Coventry
Who? Ben Clark - who works as a night-time receptionist - performed 'Here Without You' by 3 Doors Down in his first audition and has impressed the judges ever since with his rocky voice.
He says: "I do think that I'm different in terms of my voice to the rest of the people in the competition, as there are some really talented powerful singers, but I feel like mine has a huskier, rocky tone."
2. Che Chesterman - 19, Langdon

The X Factor hits the Judges' Houses stage of the competition this weekend, which means one thing - special celebrity guest mentors.
The judges, their categories and the guests have already filmed the glamorous part of the competition, and we've now been given the chance to get a sneak peek at them in action...
Louis Tomlinson joins Simon Cowell in France
The Overs might have felt dejected when Simon Cowell moaned that he didn't want them, but their luck certainly turned round at Judges' Houses in France as One Direction's Louis Tomlinson arrived to judge them.
And the singer hasn't become a diva either, leaning in to give members of the category a hug when he met them.

The X Factor is less than a fortnight away from the live shows - and you can help the judges decide which acts to take through.
The Judges' Houses stage of the competition kicks off this weekend, but Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora will decide who's made it through live from Wembley.
And viewers at home will be able to help them choose by having their say on the X Factor app.
The acts have already performed for the final time before finding out whether they've made it, with Cowell taking his Overs to France and Fernandez-Versini taking the Groups to Rome.

The X Factor's Mason Noise has revealed that he is hoping to get through to the live shows to change the public's perception of him.
Mason was initially thrown out of the Six Chair Challenge when he had an on-stage row with Simon Cowell, but was given a second chance by the Boys' mentor Nick Grimshaw when Tom Bleasby withdrew from the competition.
He has now said that he's determined to get to the live shows to show the public what he's really about.

X Factor's Bupsi won Simon Cowell over and secured herself a seat with her energetic performance and impressive dance moves on last night's (October 18) Six Chair Challenge.

The X Factor's Six Chair Challenge was a tough watch last week. With some serious talent, the stakes for Rita Ora and her Girls really did feel high.
That wasn't so much the case this time around.
The problem with the Six Chair Challenge is that it's difficult to edit it much - the producers are tied to a certain extent by whether anyone is sitting in the chairs (and who is sitting in the chairs). So when Nick Grimshaw began his category all confident and got slowly ground down by the lack of talent on offer, there wasn't much the producers could do but play it out as it was.
Sure, it's a good enough storyline that the Boys have fallen apart, but poor performance after poor performance is dispiriting and hardly something that's going to immediately suck in the viewers.

There were dramatic scenes on tonight's X Factor as Nick Grimshaw gave one of his Boys a chair before taking it away from him ... and then made a huge U-turn and brought him straight back.
When 25-year-old Ben Clark performed a touching rendition of Kodaline's 'All I Want', he received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - and a chair from Grimshaw.

Unfortunately there were no spare chairs left for Clark to take and so Grimshaw gave him Tom Bleasby's seat.
Grimmy's decision was met with anger from the crowd, who began to chant "bring him back", prompting Rita Ora to tell her fellow judge: "The crowd is gonna kill you."
And it seems Grimshaw was swayed by the huge support for Bleasby, as he suddenly asked: "Can we bring Tom back?...

The Six Chair Challenge continued tonight with Nick Grimshaw's Boys taking the stage, and it's fair to say it was something of a mixed bag. From on-stage meltdowns to serious nerves, it wasn't an easy ride. So if you can bear to relive it again, here's your video round-up, with the performances ranked from worst to best:
15. Mason Noise
Presumably the 'noise' he is referring to is a sad trombone.
14. Tom Davies
Worth it for Simon's cringe face.
13. Jordan Luke Gage
Jordan sang 'No More I Love Yous', accurately predicting the judges' comments.
12. Danny Sharples
His amazing name could only take him so far.
11. Brodie Kelly
At least Simon said he'd take a chance on him.
10. Jamie Eldridge
... We think. We only saw about ten seconds of his performance.
9. Ollie Marland
Fine.
8. Nathanael Landskroner
So nervous he "couldn't even hold the mic". (But we still like him.)

The X Factor got very tense tonight, with on-stage tantrums, forgotten lyrics and, of course, some serious Six Chair swapping. But who are the Top 6 Boys who survived the ordeal and made it to Judges' Houses?
1. Ben Clark
Age: 25
From: Coventry
Job: Receptionist and part-time singer
Remind me: Ben certainly won over Rita Ora with his first audition, in which he made the unusual choice to sing a 3 Doors Down track. With more of a rock voice than the other Boys, he was in one of the best groups at Boot Camp and then wowed with an unusual cover of Rihanna's 'Stay'. But it was his performance of Kodaline's 'All I Want' in the Six Chair Challenge that really secured his place in the competition, as Simon dubbed him the "biggest shock" of the day - and even getting on his feet for him.

Tom Bleasby has quit 'The X Factor'. The 19-year-old singer - who was put through to Nick Grimshaw's judges' houses round in the boys' Six Chair Challenge, which aired Sunday (11.10.15) - has revealed he has decided to withdraw from the ITV show, citing ''personal reasons''. He said in a statement: ''Due to personal reasons I have decided to withdraw from 'The X Factor'. Thank you to all the judges, especially Nick for his belief in me. ''I want to wish all the contestants the best of luck and thank you to the public for supporting me and my dream.'' However, a source has...

Ché Chesterman receives a standing ovation from all four judges following his soulful performance during the Six Chair Challenge on Sunday night's X Factor.
The Essex-born hopeful sings a rendition of 'It's a Man's World', prompting Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to get on her feet and high-five Nick Grimshaw - who will have to decide whether or not to give Ché a seat and take him through to Judges' Houses.
This is the second of three Six Chair Challenge episodes, following last weekend's emotional show which saw Monica Michael, Lauren Murray, Louisa Johnson, Keira Weathers, Chloe Paige and Havva Rebke secure places in the Judges' Houses stage with mentor Rita Ora.
The other singers competing for a place in Grimshaw's Boys category are Ben Clarke, Brodie Kelly, Danny Sharples, Jamie Eldridge, Jordan Luke Gage, Josh Daniel, Martin Harich, Mason Noise, Nathaneal Landskroner, Ollie Marland, Papasidero, Seann Miley Moore, Simon Lynch,...

The X Factor kicked off Boot Camp with the dreaded group challenge tonight, and it's fair to say that some groups were better than others. Much, much better. If you want a recap, you're in luck: here are all the videos you need from tonight, ranked from worst to best:
10.
Who? Kiera Weathers, Castellio, Kelly-Mai Webb, Lochei, Decibellas
Who got through? Everyone except Castellio
Group vibe: What happens when two people who are just at a gig for their girlfriends are dragged on stage and have to try to perform with the professionals.
9.
Who? Ryan Ruckledge, Katie Coleman, Samantha Atkinson, Silver Tone, Alex Wallhead
Who got through? Everyone except Ryan Ruckledge
Group vibe: Four people just trying to get on with their lives while someone drunkenly slut drops around them, basically.
8.
Who? Monica Michael, Papasidero, Batz In Da Belfry, Sophie Plumb, Princess Diamond
Who got through? Monica Michael, Papasidero, Sophie Plumb
Group vibe: ... Hostile.

The X Factor auditions are finally over and tonight we're through to Boot Camp, the source of some of X Factor's all-time best moments (Zayn Malik throwing a strop and refusing to dance, anyone?) It certainly looks as though we're in for our fair share of drama tonight.
Grab a cup of tea (or a bottle of wine, a beer and a few double voddies if you feel like emulating some of the more dramatic contestants), read up on some backstage gossip and secrets from filming and join us live from 7pm as we bring you all the action as it happens.
20:59And so that's the episode over! There were ups, there were downs, there were tantrums, there were a Lot of missed lyrics. Judging from next week's preview it looks like we are set for even more drama - join us from Sunday, September 27 at 7pm and we'll be liveblogging it all!

You can get a proper look at it here, but auditions continue until Saturday, September 19 with boot camp kicking off on September 20. That's the first of five boot camp shows - two set in a country house, and then three episodes of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. They're all on Sundays, to avoid the Rugby World Cup, but once that's out of the way, we'll get live Judges' Houses on October 24 and October 25... and then come the big live shows from October 31. And the grand final?...
