But Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty launch last month had all of us practically tackling the messengers for a first look. And we weren’t alone in our excitement: Fans mobbed Sephoras and the brand’s famous 40-shade foundation line was quick to sell out. So when the brand’s holiday collection, which just hit Sephora today, arrived on our desks, it seemed only fair to...

However, some news sources were comically skeptical. (Not to mention the news anchor from Illinois-based Wqad 8 who buried the...

We imagine that you've spent the past week being emotionally traumatized due to the newest ship sailing around fan fiction. Naturally, we're talking about #Spaleb, aka Spencer + Caleb, "Pretty Little Liars" weirdest couple who were clearly designed to play with our emotions. All kinds of Spaleb drama went down this week, and we're here to talk about it in intense detail (we're all in this together, guys).
Also, let's not forget that there's a new A in town and s/he's now going by a simple devil emoji. Way to stay relevant, friend. If there's one thing we know in these dark, uncertain times, it's that A is a millennial. Guess that rules out Old Man Ezra.
In Which Caleb and Spencer Have Sex, Make Toby Feel :(
So, Caleb and Spencer had sex. As in, they woke up together naked while some gentle acoustic guitar played. Our lives will never be the same.

Well folks, it’s that time once again: time to spend the next few weeks arguing all over the internet about the best game of the year. As for PopOptiq, we’ve already done our squabbling, the result of which can be read below.
There was a veritable barrage of excellent games released this year, from overstuffed triple Aaa bonanzas to a couple of games so indie as to be fully developed by only one person each. You’ll find both manner of games in our list as it follows.
We’re very happy with the way the list came out, and we couldn’t be prouder of the wide-ranging, exemplary titles that our team selected. We hope you will be as satisfied with the list as we are.

With Hollywood so remake crazy in modern times, Cinelinx takes a look at what makes a good remake and what makes a bad one, by examining examples of cinematic revamps. In the first of several articles, Cinelinx looks at a good remake: Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
What makes for a good remake is that it must succeed in being old and new at the same time. A remake has to satisfy those who loved the original and have certain specific expectations; and it also has to be its own entity, putting a new spin on an old idea. A good remake can’t completely toss out the old (like the remake of House of Wax) and conversely, it can’t just be a scene-by-scene imitation (like the remakes of Psycho and the Omen, which were just photocopies of the originals) so it’s a hard balancing act,...
