Hugo Moura was born in Brazil. Held his first work as a director in the short movie 'Mudança 324' (Change 324) to Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro, soon then acting debut in his second film 'How Does It Feel?' in 2015.
Further directed 'Gracias A La Vida' and 'Olho Nu' (Naked Eye), film selected for more than 15 international festivals, including the New York City Independent Film Festival and 7th Annual Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival. In July 2015 produced the controversial film 'Gogo Boy', screened by Boston Latino International Film Festival, where he also works as actor, director and screenwriter.
In 2016 releases 'Bob Jean', spin-off of the main character of the series of feature films 'Balada na Calada'. He still wrote, directed the short movie 'Beck Veneno' (Poison Beck) and 'Beck Veneno na Catacumba' (Poison Beck at Catacomb).
In 2020, started his musician career, after studying music at Escola de Música Villa-Lobos in Rio de Janeiro.
