Travel Channel’s Destination Fear kicks off its fourth season with a visit to Cresson Sanatorium in Cresson, Pennsylvania. The team will be splitting up to investigate the huge property, and just to make things even more creepy they’ll be doing it without their flashlights.
Season four premieres on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 9pm on Travel Channel (and streaming on discovery+). The eight-episode season will find paranormal investigators Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Tanner Wiseman, and Alex Schroeder traveling to haunted locations including the Winchester Mystery House, Norwich State Hospital, Ashmore Estates, and Defiance High School in Ohio.
Travel Channel offered the following description of the new season:
“After experiencing hauntings in Europe last season, the likes of which they’ve never seen at home, Dakota is now taking things to an even darker level – literally.

This summer’s San Diego Comic-Con once again invites fans to sit on their couches and enjoy the pop culture extravaganza from the safety of their homes. There is one difference from last year’s virtual event, however: It will be an abbreviated one, taking place over three days, from Friday, July 23 through Sunday, July 25 — but there are still a bevy of TV show panels on the lineup, which will be streaming for free via YouTube.
Note: Yes, there will again be a DC Fandome virtual event this year (on Oct. 16), where in 2020 shows such as The Flash, Titans, Batwoman...

Paranormal shows are a dime a dozen, but the crew of Travel Channel’s Destination Fear are carving out a unique niche for themselves. The show sets itself apart by being, first and foremost, a social experiment about fear and how much a person can take in a paranormal situation. Spearheaded by the team leader and show creator Dakota Laden, the show is the literal manifestation of all those creepy locations you’ve ever wanted to spend the night in, but were too terrified to do so. Dakota, his sister Chelsea Laden and best friend Tanner Wiseman take on the challenge weekly, setting up camp for the night in some of America’s most terrifying abandoned and haunted locales.
Each season is set up as an ongoing Rv road trip to locations handpicked by Dakota. The twist is the rest of the crew are left in the dark about what...

If you’re looking to book a supernatural excursion after the quarantine lifts, Travel Channel’s Destination Fear might have some useful tips. Brother and sister paranormal investigation team Dakota and Chelsea Laden, along with Tanner Wiseman and camera operator Alex Schroeder, have been crossing the country in an Rv and checking in overnight at some of America’s most haunted abandoned buildings. And the sights they’re looking for are gateways into the unknown.
Destination Fear Season 2, which premieres April 29, will explore a whole new set of abandoned locations with haunted histories. In each of the upcoming six hour-long episodes, the team will take turns picking a different spooky location. And together they’ll explore reports of paranormal activity before separating to sleep alone in the dark.
“Our last road trip was extremely intense, and it took a major toll on us, mentally and physically,” Dakota said. “We had...
