"This place is paradise... until it's not." Black Mandala + Tubi have revealed one more official trailer for the film Escaping Paradise, a campy action thriller from filmmaker Paul Tanter. This premiered at a festival earlier in the year, however with Tubi premiering it soon they've put out a trailer to get a look at it. When a young couple vacations on an exotic island, they encounter a dangerous fugitive who is determined to keep them from leaving. This seems to be set in the Philippines but they never mention it. Another one of these projects they made just so they could take a vacation and write off expenses, while making a junk action film no one will watch. It stars Deji Laray, Shayla Hale, Michael Bacalso, Ken Bressers, Andrew Davis II, Kylah Dela Peña, with Simon Phillips as Kane. Of course this guy just happens to be a former Black Ops,...

I reviewed Once Upon Time At Christmas in 2018 and although it was a decent enough low budget slasher movie, it’s not a movie I was expecting a sequel to appear from. Yet here we are two years later with The Nights Before Christmas.
The synopsis in very simple terms, is basically the same as the first film. Santa Claus (well a guy dressed as him) goes on a killing spree, accompanied by Mrs Claus and being chased by the F.B.I. Being a slasher means that a lot of the enjoyment from this for many will be how entertaining the death scenes are. And in that regard, The Nights Before Christmas does pretty well for itself.
