Disney Channel is heading back to camp.
The ’90s summer camp-set reality series “Bug Juice” is returning to TV, with Disney set to premiere “Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp” on July 16. The 16-episode reboot will return to Camp Waziyatah in Maine and feature a whole new class of kids.
The show will document the myriad fun activities the campers take part in, as well as the challenges the they face, including trying to fit in, being homesick and the ups and downs of friendship.
According to the network, the new series will be updated for modern times with “animated emoticons, ‘boomerang’ shots and on-screen memes punctuating the summertime adventures.”
New episodes will premiere nightly Monday through Thursday throughout the summer.
