Inevitable Foundation has announced the winners of its partnership with the Loreen Arbus Foundation to support disabled women and nonbinary writers.
The recipients are Matilda Feyiṣayọ Ibini, Melanie Abrams Fierstein, Natalia Temesgen and Anne Hamilton, who will each receive an $8,000 grant as well as mentorship, coaching and professional connections.

Comedian and actor Nore Davis, perhaps best known for playing Solomon in Apple TV’s Dickinson, is developing a new comedy series, Guards, for Fox, with comedy writer Crystal Jenkins (I Love That For You). According to Deadline, Davis will star in and executive produce the series, which is described as a “single camera, irreverent comedy with heart that follows the exploits of a group of eclectic security guards as they protect an affluent gated community.” Davis will play newly hired guard Lance Lemont, an enthusiastic but reserved rule follower who has a strong desire to protect others, even if it’s just with a flashlight. Misiak has signed with CAA in all areas.
It comes as Dave was renewed last month for a third season.
In the comedy series, Misiak plays Ally, Dave’s ex-girlfriend and a teacher. After breaking up in season one, she and the eponymous character find themselves awkwardly stumbling into a new dynamic.
She is also starring in Paramount+’s Players, the mockumentary series from American Vandal creators Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault. The series follows a fictional League of Legends pro eSports team.
