[This story contains spoilers from the first season of The New Look.]
The first season of Apple TV+’s The New Look ends with Christian Dior (Ben Mendelsohn) debuting his revolutionary 1947 collection that would be dubbed “the new look” by Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Carmel Snow (Glenn Close). The show then quickly flashes forward through some of the Dior brand’s iconic looks over the decades, which seems to suggest that the series is done with Dior’s story.
But creator Todd A. Kessler tells The Hollywood Reporter that he has a long runway planned for the series, which has yet to be officially renewed for a second season. A potential season two would continue to focus on Dior and Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche) before subsequent seasons would stay with the Dior brand as it was inherited by Yves Saint Laurent.
“I read that in the press, and that was the first time that I had ever heard of it as an anthology series,...

Considering alternate, parallel realities to be a mirror reflection of the prime one, so far in Apple TV+’s Constellation, the narrative focus has been fixated on astronaut Jo Ericsson’s tribulations after getting displaced and trapped in a world, which is a distorted reflection of her own. With the latest episode, titled Paul is Dead, as the focus shifts to the reality where Jo belongs, a number of troublesome revelations muddle the distinction between both worlds.
In the previous episode, Jo decided to seek answers on her own after getting a hint of the massive cover-up persisting across the majority of the spacefaring organizations and realizing that her account of the events in the Iss was being deliberately suppressed as it was going to become an exposé. Taking her daughter Alice with her (alternate reality version), Jo went to the Denmark Marine Observatory, where the veteran Bang siblings, the ‘Space Listener’ duo,...

“Bad Sisters” had a terrific night at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday 14, May. After winning Best Titles and Graphic Identity at the BAFTA Craft Awards, the Apple TV+ show took home Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress for Anne-Marie Duff on the Sunday just gone, bringing its awards total up to three BAFTAs.
The show follows the five Garvey sisters, led by Sharon Horgan‘s Eva, who all try to kill the abusive husband (Claes Bang‘s Jp) of Duff’s Grace. Meanwhile, two insurance agents (Brian Gleeson‘s Thomas and Daryl McCormack‘s Matthew) attempt to prove the sisters’ involvement in Jp’s death. Korea’s Hybe, which manages K-pop band BTS, says it’s planning a series of acquisitions and investments in the U.S. entertainment market this year, after withdrawing from a heated battle with internet giant Kakao to take control of rival agency Sm Entertainment.
Hybe founder and chairman Bang Si-hyuk said the company will announce a “substantial number of acquisitions and investments within this year as part of our efforts to widen our presence in the U.S.”
Bang has also recently said that the K-pop industry is losing the growth momentum that it enjoyed during the pandemic and that major players would need to scale up and diversify in order to survive. Some of that slowdown is attributed to BTS currently being on a break as a group. “Without BTS, the market drastically shrinks in size,” said Bang.
