Following that, she independently produced five shorts and a feature-length Anthology film (which she also co-wrote and co-directed) screening at several festivals, including Oberhausen, Encounters (Bristol), Sundance, Blackstar, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Durban, Africa International Film Festival (with a jury nomination), and the African Film Festival at the Film at Lincoln Centre where her feature collaboration Hyperlink played as the centrepiece. She is a Berlinale Talents 2022 alumnus and was nominated by Heidi Zwicker of the Sundance Institute for the 2023 Academy /Oscar Gold Fellowship for Women. She is also growing more interested in new distribution models, and her first project was collaborating with the Lago Short Film Festival in Italy to introduce widely unseen South African cinema to the European market.
