Spoiler alert!
The end of Power Book IV: Force Season 2 Episode 10 was epic. A fast-paced hour with plenty of jaw-dropping moments, the final hour put a profound exclamation point on a successful second effort.
The heart and soul of the series lies with Tommy Egan, its main player and the source of so many riveting moments throughout the season and in its final moments. And we were thrilled to get some time with the magnetic Joseph Sikora to talk about it all.
From Tommy and Diamond's partnership to Tommy's relationship woes and his appreciation for showrunner Gary Lennon, we covered a lot of ground in this informative chat.
This one's for you, Power Force fanatics!
I wanted to start with Tommy and Diamond because that was a central dynamic in the second season. Their partnership worked out, but something was missing between the two of them.

Power is currently airing its sixth and final season on Starz.
Power Season 6 has been firing from all cylinders, with stunning twists that have given fans a lot to talk about.
Power Season 6 Episode 8, which aired Sunday, featured another stunning death as Keisha Grant (La La Anthony) was gunned down by her best friend, Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton).
While most fans called Keisha's death coming, the biggest shocker was that Tasha was the one who ended her life.
If you watch Power online, you know that Keisha has made a string of bizarre moves of late. She's found herself getting increasingly caught up in Tommy's drug business.

The person who gets offed in this week’s Power didn’t choose the thug life. The thug life chose…. oh, wait a minute.
Yeah, on second thought, Lakeisha Grant 100 percent chose the maelstrom of violence and crime in which she finds herself in Sunday’s episode. And before the end of the hour, Tommy Egan’s ride-or-die has ridden and died: Rip, Lakeisha. You kept your word, and your silence, ’til the very end.

Spoiler Alert: This story includes details about the sixth and final season opener of Starz’s Power.
“The final scene of the show is definitely the final scene that I always envisioned,” Power executive producer Courtney Kemp says as the sixth and final season of the Starz drama kicked off tonight with a very big death.
After five seasons shuttling between both sides of the law in her love affair with James “Ghost” St. Patrick, Angela Valdes, played by Lela Loren, finally took a literal bullet for her old flame – a bullet from Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) meant for the Omari Hardwick-portrayed drug lord looking to make it in the legit world.
That shot at the end of Season 5 saw the once highflying federal prosecutor in the emergency ward and, soon after tonight’s David Rodriguez-directed “Murderers” episode started, on a slab in the coroner’s office.

Power is ending next year but there is more Power coming, with some very big star power.
Mary J. Blige will be headlining the first spinoff of the well watched series, executive producers Courtney Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson revealed today near the end of the TCA mega-panel for the Starz flagship series for “The Final Betrayal” sixth and final season.
“Today we are pleased to announce that we are in pre-production on the first of what we know will be a collection of series inspired by the dynamic world of Power, said Kemp dropping the news as the Apa-repped Blige bound into the ballroom. Power Book II: Ghost will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters.”
“This is probably going to be the most exiting thing that will happen to me this year,” the multi-Grammy and Oscar nominee told the TCA audience in her surprise appearance.

Starz has announced that Power Season 6 will be the show's "final betrayal" a.k.a. last season.
Power Season 6 is happening. The news came as Power Season 5 finished production. Now Starz has announced that Power Season 6 will be the last go around...or the "final betrayal" in Starz' preferred parlance.
Notably, while Power Season 6 will be the last we see of Power, Starz mentioned in its announcement that they continue to portray stories within the Power universe.
“Season 6 brings us to the end of what we know is just the first chapter of the Power story. However, as one chapter comes to an end, another will begin,” Carmi Zlotnik, President of Programming for Starz, said in a statement “Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have created a world rich with complex and dynamic characters and there are a number of stories we plan to tell as...
