AMC Networks announced today its lineup at this year’s New York Comic Con, which runs from October 12 to October 15 at the Javits Center, including panels, special screenings and Q&As, along with an exclusive look at some of its most anticipated series in 2024.

On October 6, 2022, Crunchyroll hosted the North American subtitled red carpet premiere of the highly anticipated feature anime film, “One Piece Film Red” at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York City. The biggest week on the gaming calendar is back! E3 has returned after last year’s trade show was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Things are a little different for E3 2021, which won’t have a show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center like in past years. Instead, the convention will take place completely online as an all-virtual event featuring a whole list of live streams hosted by the industry’s biggest publishers and studios, including Microsoft, Bethesda, Nintendo, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, and Take-Two Interactive. (Sony PlayStation is once again skipping this year’s event.)

“Captain Marvel” is soaring following advanced press screenings on Tuesday.
Reactions from early showings have hit Twitter, and audiences are keen on Marvel’s first female-led standalone movie.
Critics are praising Brie Larson’s performance as Carol Danvers, the nostalgic ’90s setting, and the cosmic sci-fi elements. Goose, Danvers’ cat, is also getting a lot of attention from audiences. According to Kayti Burt from Den of Geek, “Cat people will love this movie.” Burt added that “the McU feels more complete now.”

Hold on to your plumey helmets: Disney held the first public screenings for “Captain Marvel” Tuesday night, and just minutes after it ended, the joyous online reactions began.
Much praise was given to star Brie Larson and the film’s portrayal of Carol Danvers, the first female hero to lead a Marvel Studios film. But co-star Ben Mendelsohn was celebrated as the film’s “surprise Mvp.” Also, pretty everyone agreed that a cat named Goose is wonderful.
“#CaptainMarvel doesn’t owe us anything, but holy wow does it deliver,” said Et Now’s Meredith B. Kile.
