Sienna Miller‘s role was cut from the new Johnny Depp film “Black Mass” that is slated to hit theaters later this month. The film’s director Scott Cooper told the Boston Globe that Miller’s character, Catherine Greig, a girlfriend of Depp’s character Whitey Bulger, was removed from the final cut: “It came down to narrative choices.” Miller spoke to the publication last year about how she prepared for her role of Greig, who lived with Bulger for 16 years and was sentenced to eight years in prison for helping Bulger escape from law enforcement officials.
