All the characters featured in this list, have one thing in common, they all made it in the American Film Institute's Top 100 screen-characters, in both the Top 50 Heroes and the Top 50 Villains. Interestingly, they could all be combined into pairs from movies of the same director, sometimes two pairs (starting with the highest ranked from each category).
