In 2005, aged just 17, Brisbane-based Josh Thomas was the youngest ever winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's RAW Comedy Competition, plus made the finals of the Edinburgh equivalent So You Think You're Funny. He thought he was the King of the World.
His next gig was in a scary 'you-might-actually-die-when-they-stab-you' style tavern in front of 12 comics and a man sitting at the bar crying into his beer. Josh was named Best Newcomer at the 2007 MICF for his show Please Like Me. That same year, he built a reputation for wearing cardigans, however not wanting to be type cast he then moved into V-neck knitted sweaters in 2008. Along with the Gen Y representative on Australia's latest TV show, Talkin' Bout Your Generation, Josh's next aim is to become Cleo's most eligible bachelor.- Hugh Millais was born on 23 December 1929 in Blackwater Valley, Surrey, England, UK.
