Since then, as well as guest leads in TV programs such as Powers (2004) and frequent Theatre work, Jessica has moved into British soap operas, firstly playing Belle Wise in Crossroads (2001) appearing on our TVs five nights a week, and, as of January 2008, Jessica is playing the role of Nancy Hayton in the popular soap Hollyoaks (1995) .

Julie Payne was born as Julie Watts on July 17th 1951 in Maidenhead, Berkshire, attending the local school. On leaving she began working for the BBC, initially as a secretary before moving into the costumes department. On the recommendation of Sandy Lieberson she went to work as an assistant to Ridley Scott on 'Thelma and Louise' and ultimately became managing director for his company Scott Free, winning an Emmy for their film drama about Winston Churchill, 'The Gathering Storm'. Born in 1942, Michael went full time to the Italia Conti Stage School in Archer Street, London W1 when he was 12. Three months later he gave his first professional performance as an elf and a rainbow child at the Royal Festival Hall. The following year he played the lead Crispian.
As a child/young actor he worked extensively in the theaters, film and television - touring for Carl Clopet, regularly appearing at Bromley Rep and playing leads in many television productions. In his teens he became an ASM and played several roles at the Little Theater - Great Yarmouth.
When Michael was 21 he joined the BBC as an AFM in Drama department and a year later became a Production Assistant. At 23 he took the Directors Course and whilst still on the staff as a PA directed series like The Newcomers (1965), Z Cars (1962) and Doctor Who (1963). After three years of bouncing between PA and Director. Ronald Marsh - head of Serials offered him a years worth of directing work and he became a freelance TV drama director.
A successful career directing popular drama followed, winning him an Emmy for A Tale of Two Cities for which he also wrote the adaptation. After considerable success directing many shows for Gerard Glaister he formed a production company Linked Ring Films and produced and directed the feature, Tangiers (1982).
A single production in the Netherlands led to a stream of work in Amsterdam where he introduced the British methods of making Drama and Situation Comedy. All his productions in Aalsmere won awards including Best Drama.
In order to fulfill a lifetime ambition he set sail in his own yacht and with a camera in one hand and a sextant in the other proceeded to make a circumnavigation in between other directing assignments. The film he shot during the voyage became the very popular series Blue Water Destinations and Blue Water Cruising. Simon Channing Williams' career started at the BBC where he worked with amongst others; Stephen Frears, James MacTaggart, Mike Newell, Michael Apted and Mike Leigh.
As a result of working with Mike Leigh they jointly formed Thin Man Films in 1988, producing many critically acclaimed films such as the Palme D'Or winning 'Secrets & Lies' and Oscar nominated 'Topsy-Turvy' and 'Vera Drake' which also won the Golden Lion at Venice. Happy-Go-Lucky is their 11th film together.
Outside his relationship with Mike Leigh and Thin Man Films, Simon Channing Williams produced a number of other films, including 'Puccini' for director Tony Palmer, 'When the Whales Came' directed by Clive Rees and 'Jack and Sarah', directed by Tim Sullivan, which was an enormous hit at the UK box-office, as well as Nick Love's debut feature 'Goodbye Charlie Bright'.
In 2000 he formed the independent production company Potboiler Productions with Gail Egan. Together they have produced seven feature films including a classic adaptation of 'Nicholas Nickleby' directed by Douglas McGrath, the rock epic 'Brothers of the Head' directed by Keith Fulton & Lou Pepe, and the Oscar winning 'The Constant Gardener' directed by Fernando Meirelles.
He is also executive producer with his business partner Gail Egan on Fernando Meirelles current film 'Blindness', starring Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo and Gael Garcia Bernal. Potboiler has also acquired the rights to the latest John le Carre novel 'The Mission Song'.
As a result of filming 'The Constant Gardener' Simon was instrumental in setting up The Constant Gardener Trust which is building a secondary school in the desert town of Loiyangalani some 600 km north of Nairobi. The school will be completed by the end of 2009. The Trust is also building showers and lavatories in the Nairobi slum of Kibera as well as installing 10,000 litre water towers.
He was given the honour of being made an elder of Loiyangalani and last December he was awarded the Order of the Grand Warrior by President Kibaki in recognition of both his work with 'The Constant Gardener' film and The Constant Gardener Trust.- Derek Aylward was born on 29 October 1922 in Maidenhead, England, UK. Multi award winning producer, writer and director. One of the first British filmmakers to be listed on the Hollywood Director's List, an initiative set up to begin a list of women directors with at least one feature film credit or television drama to promote more women working behind the camera. Her first film, Gypo, was listed as No10 of the top ten dogme95 films ever made, as per dogme rules she is not credited as director, she also wrote the screenplay. Growing up poor herself, in 2010 she founded the charity Kent Film Foundation in Thanet to help mentor and support the next generation of young filmmakers experiencing a poverty of opportunity including LGBT youth and girl's in particular. Owen Feetham was born on the 10th of February 2001 to Mark and Karen Feetham. His interest in films was ignited after he watched a behind the scenes video from X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) showing how they created the Quicksilver scene. He pursued this passion, looking in depth at different films and how they were made, which made him realise that he wanted to make films.
