Marwa Zein Arbab , Award Winning Nubian - Afro-Arab Film Director, Script Writer and Producer for her acclaimed debut 'Khartoum Offside' and acclaimed short fiction films 'A game' and 'One week, Two days'.
'Khartoum Offside' is Awarded Best Documentary for 2019 by The 15th Africa Movie Academy Awards AMAA 2019. Carthage International Film Festival JCC awarded the film best 1st work by TV5 Monde. The film won Best Documentary award in FCAT Spain 2019 and Special Mention Award at Malmo Arab FF Sweden 2019 and nominated for best Arabic film in Cairo International FF 2019.
The film had its World Premiere at Berlinale Forum 2019 and officially selected in the most prestigious international festivals; Visions Du Reel, CPH DOX, Hot Docs and Sheffield, JCC, IDFA & CIFF 2019. Betwen 2019 and 2021 the film was shows in more than 70 international film festivals and translated into 5 languages.
Zein was born in Saudi Arabia & lived in Egypt. Quit studying Chemical engineering in Cairo University after 3 years to study Cinema in Academy of arts in Cairo, Egypt in 2005. Born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on the 16th November 1982, Muneer Majahed Lyati showed an interest in vehicles and the automotive industry from an early age. Muneer developed his interest in the industry further when he graduated from the Jeddah College of Technology, in 2016. He has been born in, raised in, and lives in Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
He earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering while majoring in engines and vehicles. Muneer was the secretary of the Engineering Student Association. He took courses in English, firefighting, computing, divemaster, principles ineffective supervision, OSH professional, and IOSH management. He became proficient in a number of programs and platforms to further advance his impressive skillset. After his graduation, Muneer went to work for Alhamrani-Fuchs Petroleum. After the Revolt of 1857, his father went to Mecca where he married the daughter of Shaikh Mahomed Zahir Wetri. Maulana Azad was born in 1888 in Mecca. His early years were spent in Arabia. In 1898, his father settled in Calcutta and took his family with him. By then, Azad was fluent in Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi. In 1905, Azad's father sent him to Egypt to study at the Al Azhar University in Cairo, the most famous institution of learning in the Moslem world. He returned to India in 1907 and became interested in the Indian nationalist movement. In 1909, after his father's death, Azad, with the help of a dictionary and a grammar, studied English. During World War I, he advocated a programme of non-cooperation with the British, which influenced Mohandas K. Gandhi and for which he was imprisoned. He was elected president of the Indian National Congress in 1940 and was also president of the Congress Party during negotiations for India's independence. After independence, he was in charge of the ministry of education.
