Annie-Summer Hardy (born June 5, 1981) is an American musician who is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for indie rock band Giant Drag.
Annie grew up mostly in San Clemente, a city in Orange County, California. Her mother is Molly Hardy, a part-time playwright and director. When Annie was younger, she acted in one of her mother's plays. She got her first guitar when she was in the sixth grade, but attempts at getting lessons failed.
In the tenth grade, Hardy went to a boarding school in Ojai. It was there that she met another girl who also had a guitar.
After high school, Hardy did extra work for money and pursued a musical career. In 1999, she moved to Los Angeles. At some point, Hardy worked as a DJ at Beauty Bar. Hardy continued looking for band members and was involved in many potential bands, including Mein Coif, with friends Mike Felix (now drummer of Toys That Kill) and Max Humphrey (bassist of The Adored).
In May 2003, Hardy and Micah Calabrese formed Giant Drag. Hardy's mother, who had worked with Calabrese, had initially attempted to get Hardy and Calabrese to meet, but the two eventually met through mutual friends. They began recording music together, including covers of Journey's "Who's Crying Now" and the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows."
Giant Drag's first show was on June 4, 2003, at the Scene in Los Angeles, one month after they decided to be a band. They went on to play venues like The Troubadour, Silverlake Lounge, The Fold and The Derby.
On January 25, 2005, Giant Drag released the EP Lemona on Wichita Recordings. This was followed on September 13, 2005, by their first full-length release, Hearts and Unicorns, on Kickball Records.

Jeff C. Smith was born on 6 August 1975 in San Clemente, California, USA. He is a director and writer, known for Who Done It: The Clue Documentary (2022), The Great All Nighter and Goldrush (2014).- Bold, with a hint of sophistication, Kelly Crean has become a much sought after commodity in the entertainment industry due to the natural element she brings into all of her work in film and television. Kelly was born in Laguna Beach on the 9th day, 9th month at 9:00 into a prominent, highly philanthropic family. She often performed in a string of children's and high school performances while growing up, all the while watching her grandfather simultaneously produce films and attend charity events with many of Hollywood's greats.
At 16 years old, Kelly was formally introduced to the Film and Television industry by Stan Freeberg, who cast her in an Encyclopedia Britannica commercial. This immediately caused Kelly to become enamored with the craft and the entertainment industry. To "seal the deal," her grandfather started a renowned cooking show, At Home On The Range, in which Kelly devotedly watched almost every episode being filmed.
Knowing it was essential to further her career as an actress, Kelly enrolled in Chapman University to study all elements of film and television, including directing, producing, editing, and acting. She directed, wrote, participated, and starred in several productions while in attendance.
To earn money while working on her degree, she landed a role on the daytime soap Port Charles. This led to Kelly working on Days of Our Lives and subsequently a list of notable films and television shows. A perfectionist in her craft, Kelly is known by many she's worked with as being one of the most natural, cute (as well as quirky!) actresses in the industry.
And let's not forget that amazing smile of hers to boot! - Ian Micah O'Bannon was born on 12 June 1997 in San Clemente, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Anticipation (2017).

Ian Crane was born in San Clemente, California, USA. He is known for Brother (2015), Crane Brain (2022) and Snapt (2002).- Jennifer Kessy was born and raised in Orange County, California. She participated in numerous sports growing up and took up volleyball when she was 13 years old. While attending Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, Kessy was on both the swimming and volleyball teams, earning numerous local, county and state awards for volleyball.
This resulted in Kessy earning a volleyball scholarship to the prestigious and world-renown University of Southern California (USC) where she enrolled in 1995. During her fours years at USC, playing the position of outside hitter, she was named an All-American and was a member of the United States Junior National Team.
Following her tenure at USC, Kessy played professional indoor volleyball in both the United States and Puerto Rico, while also playing on the beach volleyball circuit in the summers. From 2004 on, she concentrated exclusively on beach volleyball.
Over the years, Kessy played with numerous beach volleyball partners and in 2007, teamed up with April Ross, who was also a former USC volleyball player. The pair immediately set themselves the goal of qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. During 2007, they became the lowest seeded team (29th) ever to win an FIVB event and in 2008, were in the semifinals in all but one AVP event. However, Kessy and Ross missed qualifying for the Beijing Olympics, despite finishing seventh in the world rankings, as they were ranked third among American teams with each country only allowed a maximum of two teams to participate in the Olympics.
By failing to qualify for the Beijing Olympics, Ross and Kessy decided to refocus their efforts on the 2012 Olympic Games in London. They decided to increase their cardiovascular workouts, adopt healthier diets, and hired a coach who would also travel with them to tournaments.
Their efforts paid off almost immediately when in 2009, Kessy and Ross appeared in the finals of nine of their 10 regular season AVP events, winning four times, and on the FIVB Tour they won the World Championships in Stavanger, Norway.
In 2012, Ross and Kessy achieved their goal by qualifying for the Olympic Games in London, where they represented the United States of America. Despite being seeded number four entering the games, the pair made an improbable and undefeated run to the Gold Medal game, with a record of 6-0, including a semifinal win against the number one ranked team in the world, Brazil's Larissa Franca and Juliana Silva, who had beaten Kessy and Ross in each of their previous nine meetings. Kessy and Ross would go on to win the Silver Medal at the 2012 London Olympics. - Producer
