- Charlie Minor, was a top A&M record executive, known as 'Part Animal' for his rock 'n' roll all hours of the next morning parties that included scores of beautiful bikini-clad women and celebrities held at his Malibu beach house. He was murdered at that same Malibu beach house by his former girlfriend Suzette McClure on March 19, 1995. Suzette Melina McClure was able to plead to second degree murder on May 15, 1997. A first degree conviction would have assured life in prison for the former laid-off aerospace worker turned stripper. Municipal Judge Elva Soper in October 1995 dismissed a special allegation of lying in wait, which could have made McClure eligible for execution if convicted. Soper said prosecutors failed to prove the allegation. At sentencing on June 3, 1997, she faced 19 years to life in prison. He was also married to actress Danitza Kingsley.
