In Rules Don't Apply (2016), he writes, produces, directs and stars in. Only Beatty and Orson Welles (Citizen Kane) have been nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as an actor, a director, a writer, and a producer for the same film. He has received the Eleanor Roosevelt Award from the Americans for Democratic Action, the Brennan Legacy Award from the Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University School of Law, and the Philip Burton Public Service Award from The Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights.

Robbie Coltrane, one of Britain's most popular comedians who was head
of debating society at school and won prizes for his art, is now a film
star who played in two James Bond films and in the "Harry Potter"
franchise.
Coltrane was born Anthony Robert McMillan on March 30, 1950, in
Rutherglen, a suburb of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. His mother, Jean Ross (Howie), was a teacher and pianist. His father, Ian Baxter McMillan,
was a general surgeon who also worked for police pathology. Young
Robbie was fond of art, music, films and cars. He was a voracious
reader of his dad's books on medicine and crime. At age 12 he made his
acting debut on stage at Glenalmond College, delivering rants from
"Henry V". At that time he was fascinated with
Marlon Brando and
Orson Welles.
He attended Glasgow Art School, majoring in drawing, painting and film,
then studied art at Edinburgh's Moray House College of Education for a
year. In 1973 he made a documentary titled "Young Mental Health", which
was voted Film Of The Year by the Scottish Education Council. At that
time Robbie took the name Coltrane, due to his love of jazz, and began
a career of a stand-up comedian at night clubs, at the Edinburgh
Festival, as well as an actor with Edinburgh's renowned Traverse
Theatre.
In 1980 Coltrane made his debut on television as "Border Guard" in
BBC's mini-series
The Lost Tribe (1980), then
made his big screen debut as a limousine driver in
Death Watch (1980). In
1981 he appeared in his first leading role as Detective Fritz Langley
in Subway Riders (1981), by famed
underground director Amos Poe.
He became a well-known face through appearances in The Comic Strip
series, then in Alfresco (1983) and
Comic Strip movies
The Supergrass (1985) and
The Pope Must Diet (1991), among
other films. At that time Coltrane had a drinking problem, downing as
much as a bottle of whiskey a day. In 1986 he flew to a clinic in
Mexico and was treated for obesity. In 1987 his partner for 15 years,
Robin Paine, left him for good, leaving her portrait in Coltrane's
barn.
In 1988 Coltrane met then 18-year-old Rhona Gemmell in a pub. They
married and had a son, Spencer, and a daughter, Alice. His career took
off during the early 1990s with the leading role as Dr. Eddie "Fitz"
Fitzgerald, a forensic psychologist, in the popular TV series
Cracker (1993).
He made such a good performance as Valentin Zukovsky, a KGB man turned
St. Petersburg mafia lord, in
GoldenEye (1995) the producers called
him back for the same character in
The World Is Not Enough (1999).
Then Coltrane hit another lucrative franchise; he was personally
selected by J.K. Rowling as her choice to
play half-giant Rubeus Hagrid in the 'Harry Potter' films.
In early 1990s Coltrane wrote an autobiography, "Coltrane in a
Cadillac", and also starred in the eponymous TV series,
Coltrane in a Cadillac (1993),
in which he indulges his passion for vintage cars and tells with great
humor about his 4000-mile journey across America from Los Angeles to
New York. In 2003 he separated from his wife. His interests outside of
his acting profession had been reading books, and rebuilding and
collecting vintage cars. Robbie Coltrane resided in a converted
farmhouse in Stirlingshire, Scotland, UK.- Actor

Dark-haired, usually-mustachioed American actor with a cheeky grin, who
achieved pop culture status through his portrayal of the kooky
patriarch "Gomez Addams" in the hit TV series The Addams Family (1964), John Astin was
born on March 30, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied mathematics at
Johns Hopkins University, but he discovered a passion for the theater and
began to perform in minor plays and do voice-over work for commercials. He
first got noticed thanks to a small role in West Side Story (1961),
then appeared in several other films before being cast as "Gomez
Addams". While "The Addams Family" was initially a huge hit, its
popularity petered out after two years, and Astin moved on to other
work including the offbeat Bunny O'Hare (1971), playing a grizzled but not-
particularly-bright gunfighter in the Western spoof Evil Roy Slade (1972), an
appearance in the Disney comedy Freaky Friday (1976) and dual roles
in National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985).
He has since lent his comedic talents to numerous appearances as "Dr.
Gangreen" in several corny "Killer Tomato" movies, and has contributed
his voice to recreate "Gomez Addams" in the animated series The Addams Family (1992),
then played "Grandpa Addams" in the successful TV series The New Addams Family (1998).
In addition, Astin has contributed voices to several animated shows, and he
still appears in films regularly.- Actress

She is primarily a model but is also an actress, most famous for playing Jane Doe in the film Autopsy of Jane Doe. Olwen is married with one daughter.
Kelly, the eldest of five siblings - a sister and brother, and then two brothers who grew up separately - grew up in Celbridge. Her mother, a teacher, was a singer in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe was just her second part as an actress since studying biology in Maynooth - Kelly had worked in retail and then as a model, mostly in London. Her agent put her up for the part, despite her not having many acting credits, and the director told her that after they met - she was the first person he saw for the part - he knew he would cast her.
Her modelling career has seen her work with big high-street names, Next and TK Maxx, as well as numerous publications. The part would require two things that would challenge most actresses - nudity throughout, and maintaining the stillness of a corpse.
After The Autopsy of Jane Doe, she decided to take acting lessons before any further auditions.
Before the The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Olwen had a part in Patrick Ryan's Darkness on the Edge of Town. Her first acting role, it came about after she responded to an ad on Gumtree. - Actress

Since Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), Ziering has appeared on numerous television shows including CSI: NY (2004), JAG (1995) and Fran Drescher's Happily Divorced (2011). In addition, he has continued to be one of the most in-demand actors for various animated films and television shows including Spider-Man (2003), Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series (1996), Batman Beyond (1999) and Biker Mice from Mars (1993). In 2005, in a real change of pace from his normal acting roles, Ziering also appeared in the Tony Scott feature film thriller, Domino (2005), with Keira Knightley. Other film credits include National Lampoon's: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus (2011), That's My Boy (2012) with Adam Sandler, An American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars (2012) with Nia Vardalos, Snake & Mongoose (2013), and, Christmas in Palm Springs (2014).
In 2007, Ziering showed the world that he was a true triple threat when he signed on to the fourth season of the hit ABC series, Dancing with the Stars (2005). A fan and judge favorite with his partner, two-time Mirror Ball Champion Cheryl Burke, the pair eventually danced their way into the show's semifinals. In addition to his ongoing acting roles and voice over work, Ian is a much sought-after television host and, was most recently seen hosting HGTV's A-List Pets.
2013 proved to be a pivotal year for Ziering both professionally and personally. At the age of 49, Ian became a Las Vegas headliner when he starred as the celebrity guest host of the award-winning production of Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Taking on this new role, the actor hit the gym and dropped 30 pounds, transforming himself into a fit and muscled man, thrilling the sold-out audiences. His Chippendales engagement brought him a new wave of fans and international acclaim, thrusting him once again into the limelight. The engagement was such a huge success, establishing Ian as a major Las Vegas box-office draw, he was asked to return to the show in Summer 2014 for another sold-out run at the Rio with the world-famous brand.
However, it was during his final week with the Chippendales in 2013 that Ian's small-budget film Sharknado (2013) aired on the SyFy Channel and instantly became a social media and worldwide phenomenon. Garnering more than 5,000 Tweets per minute during its initial broadcast - more than any other television show to date - Sharknado (2013) became an instant science fiction, cult classic and, even received a theatrical release in movie theatres around the world due to its popularity with fans.
The franchise exploded so much that in July 2014 Ian reprised his role as Fin Shepard in SyFy's Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014), and the film went on to devour the world and become an even bigger pop culture phenomenon than the first. The record-setting sequel had nearly 4 million viewers in its first broadcast and went on to claim the title as the "Most social movie on TV ever" by garnering one billion (that is NOT a typo) Twitter impressions. At one point, Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014) held all top 10 trending topics in the United States with more mentions on Twitter than #MileyCyrus on the day of the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards (2013), and #kimye on Kim Kardashian and Ye's wedding day. Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015) stormed the world in July 2015 and chomped its way to over 2 billion Twitter impressions - doubling those of Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014). Generating more Twitter activity than every episode of the final season of Mad Men (2007), every episode of last Season's The Bachelor (2002) and Hillary Clinton's Presidential announcement, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015) trended #1 in the United States and #2 worldwide. The latest film in the hit franchise, Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016), debuted on July 31, 2016 on SyFy.
A true philanthropist, Ian used his brains, brawn (and his heart) when he competed on NBC's 7th Season of the hit series, The Celebrity Edition of The Apprentice (2004). Along with his other contestants, Ian endured challenging tasks that tested his ability to work with his colleagues while ultimately raising over $320,000 for the EB Medical Research Foundation (www.ebkids.org). Ian is proud to be the fourth highest celebrity fundraiser in the history of The Celebrity Edition of The Apprentice (2004). Inspired by his entrepreneurial tasks during The Celebrity Edition of The Apprentice (2004), Ian has created a new clothing line, Chainsaw Brands (ChainsawBrands.com), featuring classic American style athletic leisure and apparel. In keeping with his philanthropic nature, a portion of all proceeds from the sale of his signature line will benefit those less fortunate. In addition, in February 2016, Ian launched CelebrityHideaways.com, a luxury destination based website for the discerning traveler looking for unique experiences typically frequented by the rich and famous. His extensive travel over the last 30 years lends itself to revealing the less beaten path for site visitors to browse, get information, and book their perfect vacation.
And, it's not just his professional career that is soaring. Ian's personal life has seen some wonderful changes as well over the last few years. He and his wife, nurse Erin Ziering, welcomed their second daughter, Penna Mae in 2013. Their first daughter, Mia Loren, was born on the same day, two years earlier. The quintessential father and family man, Ian was named DaddyScrubs "Daddy of the Year 2013," an award which recognizes fathers who are extremely proactive in raising their children. In June 2016, Ian and his wife launched the family blog, AtHomeWithTheZierings.com, a creative resource for other families. Ian currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughters. This latterly white-haired Canadian character actor had a natural predilection for portraying historical figures. Kenneth Welsh was born in Edmonton, Alberta. After college he studied drama at the National Theatre School in Montreal. He then acted on the Shakespearean stage in Ontario for several years before making his screen debut for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in 1963. His early TV appearances displayed a natural affinity for period drama with appearances in Henry V (1966), The Great Detective (1979), The Three Musketeers (1969) (starring as D'Artagnan) and F.D.R.: The Last Year (1980) (as Thomas E. Dewey). As his accomplishments grew, he became more prolific: by the mid-80s, Welsh found himself in increasing demand as supporting player in mainstream U.S. TV shows like Spenser: For Hire (1985), The Twilight Zone (1985) and The X-Files (1993). Ultimately, the role for which he became best known was that of Windom Earle, the ex-FBI agent and partner of Dale Cooper in David Lynch's iconic series Twin Peaks (1990). Until his untimely passing in May 2022, the ever versatile Welsh continued to amass numerous TV and movie credits, alternating appearances in both the U.S. and Canada, his distinguished looks ideally suited to high ranking authority figures: General Harry Crerar in Dieppe (1993), Lord Beaverbrook in Above and Beyond (2006), Harry S. Truman in Hiroshima (1995) and (latterly) Admiral Senna Tal in Star Trek: Discovery (2017). On the big screen his many roles have included the (fictional) erstwhile Vice-President of the U.S. Raymond Becker in the apocalyptic science fiction drama The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and Dr. Jeff Wagner in Marvel's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Among Welsh's other sci-fi credits have been The Outer Limits (1995) (Dr. Vazquez), Stargate: Atlantis (2004) (Jamus) and The Expanse (2015) (as the sympathetic Earth ambassador to Mars Franklin DeGraaf).
Welsh was awarded Canada's equivalent of the Emmy, the Gemini Award, on four occasions (1988, 1990, 1992 and 1998), among a total of six nominations. In October 2003, he received further honours by becoming a Member of the Order of Canada.- Music Artist

Hailing from the small town of Charlemagne, Québec, Céline Dion has
become one of the all-time greatest singers. Céline was born in 1968,
the youngest of 14 children. Early in childhood, she sang with her
siblings in a small club owned by her parents. From these early
experiences, Céline gained the know-how to performing live. At the age
of 12, Dion composed a song in her native French and sent it to a
record company, where it garnered the attention of René Angélil, a
respected manager. Angélil believed in Céline so much that he actually
mortgaged his house in order to finance her debut album. Already very
popular and successful internationally, Céline burst onto the U.S.
stage when she recorded the theme song to Disney's hit Beauty and the Beast (1991). The
song garnered a Grammy and an Oscar, and from this point Céline has
brought forth hit after hit. Her 'Falling Into You' album, released in
1996, became the best-selling album of that year, selling more than 25
million copies worldwide. In 1999, Dion took a hiatus in order to begin
a family. She returned to the spotlight in 2002, releasing yet another
hit album. Starting in 2003, Céline began a three-year commitment to
perform in an arena built for her in Las Vegas.- Actor

Eric Clapton was born in Ripley, Surrey, England, on March 30, 1945.
His real father was a Canadian pilot but he didn't find that out until
he was 53. When he was 2 his mother felt she was unable to look after
him, so Eric then went to live with his grandparents. When he was 14 he
took up the guitar, having been influenced by blues artists such as B.B
King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters and
John Lee Hooker.
In 1963, after
he was chucked out of art college, he joined
Paul Samwell-Smith, as he was in art school
with Keith Relf. He stayed for about 18
months before beginning a stint with
John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Eric became
known as "god", as he impressed the whole English music scene with his
amazing guitar playing.
After about a year Eric had had enough of
impersonating his blues idols and decided to form a group of his own,
so in 1966 he formed a band with bassist
Jack Bruce and drummer
Ginger Baker (who had the idea) that became
known as Cream. This band was not a purist
blues group but a hard-driving rock and blues trio. They first
performed together at a jazz and blues festival in Surrey before
signing a record contract. In November 1966 their debut single,
"Wrapping Paper", hit UK #34, but their next single, "I Feel Free",
made more of an impression, hitting UK #11 the following January. At
the same time they released their debut album "Fresh Cream", which was
a top-ten hit, going to UK #6 and went on to make US #39 later in the
year.
Cream spent most of 1967 either touring or writing, recording and
producing "Disreali Gears", which was to be one of their finest
efforts. The first single that confirmed the group as a mainstream
success was "Strange Brew", which went to #17 in the UK. After a hectic
worldwide tour, their second album "Disreali Gears" was released and
became an enormous worldwide hit, rising to UK #5 and US #4. The
album's success r4esulted in one of its tracks, "Sunshine Of Your
Love", a hit in the US, going to #36. In February 1968 Cream set out on
a six-month US tour, the longest time that a British band ad ever been
in America. The tour took in hundreds of theaters, arenas and stadiums,
but in April 1968 the band was exhausted and decided to take a short
break from touring. However, during their break disaster struck. While
Cream was in America Eric had given an interview to the magazine
"Rolling Stone" which had Eric the editor make critical points about
his guitar playing. This led to an eruption within the band, which was
the beginning of the end. Despite this setback, the band's US tour
carried on until June, during which they had been recording their most
popular project, "Wheels Of Fire", a double album that was released in
August 1968; the live album shot to UK #3 and the studio effort to UK
#7, but both went directly to US #1 for four weeks. Despite the fact
that the band had sold so many records, had sold out nearly every
concert, had made millions and even managed to boost "Sunshine Of Your
Love" to hit US #5 and UK #25, they decided that after a farewell tour
of America Cream would split. The band toured North America in October,
played two concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London in November and
then Cream was no more - as Clapton explained, "The Cream has lost
direction."
In the winter of 1969 Eric began jamming with former
Traffic front man
Steve Winwood, with Ginger Baker also
joining in Eric's mansion in Surrey. With bassist
Ric Grech added to the lineup, the band became
Blind Faith and started rehearsing and
recording material. In June 1969, after the band finished a recording
session for their first and only album, they made their live debut in
Hyde Park to a crowd of over 200,000 fans. Despite the fact that Baker
and Grech felt that the concert was a triumph, Clapton and Winwood,
however, were more or less convinced that Blind Faith had blown it
first time round. However, despite their feelings, Blind Faith set out
on a summer sellout tour of the US, playing in arenas and stadiums all
over the country. The tour itself earned the band a fortune, but the
band members were convinced that the music itself was unsatisfying.
After the tour was over their only album, "Blind Faith", was released,
and it topped the charts worldwide. Despite the success of the album
and tour Blind Faith still decided to disband, though, and Clapton went
on tour with
Delaney & Bonnie & Friends,
who were Blind Faith's support act on the tour, and also performed at
times with The Plastic Ono Band. In March 1970 Eric launched his
highly successful solo career, by releasing a first solo album, which
featured Delaney & Bonnie.- Irina Vladimirovna Starshenbaum. Born in Moscow. She is a Russian stage and film actress and television presenter.

Allie Gonino was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in the small
Dallas suburb of Heath. As the youngest of three half-siblings, Allie
knew what she wanted out of life, very early on. The arts have always
been a strong and varied passion for her, and at the ripe age of four,
an unexpected encounter with the pre-fame country band, The Dixie
Chicks, was the trigger that jump started Allie's move into music. The
meeting ignited a spark in her, and after hearing Martie Maguire play
the fiddle, Allie asked her mom for violin lessons. Growing up, as a
dancer she studied ballet, hip-hop, and jazz, played violin in the
Dallas Youth Orchestra, and regularly performed country music at local
opry houses. Music has been Allie's biggest influence in every aspect
of life, though it wasn't the only art form that inspired her from a
young age. She credits the classic film, 'The Wizard of Oz', for her
love of acting. Her drive and talent grew past her hometown of Heath,
and by the time she was sixteen, Allie and her mom made the move to Los
Angeles. The Stunners marked the next chapter in Allie's life. In 2007,
Allie's rep received a call from Colleen Fitzpatrick, (AKA pop singer
Vitamin C), who was looking to start an all-girl pop group. After an
audition, Allie agreed to join, and the roller coaster ride began. The
Stunners were initially signed to Columbia Records, then later to
Universal Republic. During their run, they released an EP and four
music videos, (two of which the girls wrote, directed, and produced
themselves - sans record label.) They were played on numerous Top 40
radio stations, and opened for Justin Bieber on his 'My World Tour' in
2010. The band parted ways in 2011 when Allie booked the role as Laurel
Mercer on ABC Family's original series, "The Lying Game." Though the
show was canceled after a season and a half, she continues to split her
time between acting, creating music with her folk band The Good Mad, as
well as a new solo music venture. Yoga, reading, writing, dancing, and
traveling can be found at the top of her to-do list when she's not
working. Allie is also active in raising awareness about climate
change, and the global water crisis, and works closely with The Thirst
Project, a non-profit organization that builds wells in developing
countries.- Chelsea Harris was born on 30 March 1990 in Columbus, Georgia, USA. She is an actress, known for Snowpiercer (2020), Designated Survivor (2016) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022).

Popular leading man in 1940's Hollywood who, with his suave demeanor,
exotically handsome looks and well-modulated voice, was first called
upon to portray mysterious or villainous characters. Soon he would be
teamed with other "exotics" (e.g. Maria Montez and Sabu) in a series of
escapist adventures, filmed in glorious Technicolor and set in lands of
fable, which proved most popular with movie audiences of the World War
II years. But with the end of the war, his career (like that of Montez)
would decline. He ultimately returned to his city of birth to pursue
opportunities in commercial photography.
