Adrina was tragically killed in a car accident in Tanzania while working on a documentary film in 2012. Faculty, students, alumni, and Adrina's family collaborated to produce this film project in her memory. The film is produced and directed by Maya Salganek, Associate Professor of Film/Video Arts in conjunction with current UAF Film students and support from the Department of Theatre/Film at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Film Reel Alaska Mentorship Experience - Film Production Training Program, and the Alaska Center for Documentary Film.
