Marchosias appears in animal form as a wolf with griffin's wings and a serpent's tail, spitting fire from his mouth. However, at the command of an Exorcist, he takes on the form of a woman. The short film opens with a scene of downtown Portland, Oregon, and Marchosias is in female form playing the keyboard. On the steps of the Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland is a man playing the guitar and wearing a wolf mask. He is singing about the conundrum if angels and devils were actually one and the same and postures whether that would explain all the things that are wrong with the world today. The man decides that he needs to escape from the city and travel into the woods where Marchosias is playing her keyboard to the same melody. On the way, the train stops at a station where a tragedy has taken place. The man exclaims, "It's not me I'm worried about, but rather you and what you'll do with that gun. What if all the angels and devils were one?" The man ventures into the woods near where Marchosias is. He stops and asks out loud whether someone is just poking fun at our expense or whether his venture is just a pun. Is the man the Exorcist? The final scene shows the train departing into the sunset and we are left not knowing what becomes of the man or Marchosias.

- Built at the turn of the twentieth century, the Century Plaza was at one time as elegant as it was esteemed. Indeed, businessmen, and those simply passing through the city, made a point to patronize this five-story complex sandwiched in the heart of industria1 Portland. Sadly, as the century gave way to the development of high-rise and commercial lodging, the Plaza began a downward spiral into the shadow of its towering competition. Eric Lahey took up residence at The Century Plaza Hotel to document this forgotten fragment of society. Through Rico the cat, the only enduring resident of the hotel, the untold stories of this nebulous culture slowly unfold as he wanders his urban enclave. For some, The Century Plaza is a meeting place, a safe haven for the exchange or abuse of illicit drugs; for others it signifies a luxurious break from the streets and a heated room and bed. Quality is of little importance. Although the conditions may seem appalling to the general population, the patrons are concerned with more important matters than their standard of living. The plaza affords refuge and survival. Stories unravel by those gripped with mental illness, drug addiction, and disease. Through spontaneous conversations, their captivating tales and diverse personalities will draw your attention, and engross you in their private world.
