What the heck is going on?!
On How to Get Away with Murder Season 3 Episode 1, we were thrown straight into the deep end in the aftermath of Mahoney's murder, and it served as a great point to fix the fractured relationship between Wes and Annalise.
Their relationship was strained for much of How to Get Away with Murder Season 2, so it was refreshing that they were on speaking terms again.
If Annalise knew all it would take was Mahoney getting his brains thrown out, she would have probably found a way for that to happen much sooner.
She has no compunction with doing some wicked things. Just give her a few vodkas and she'll have a hit list of all the people she wants whacked.
For now, it looks like Frank was the one who pulled the trigger. It was pretty sketchy that he even showed up in the first place to take Wes there.

Hollywood is targeting local language production more than ever as studios and independent finance and production players align themselves with international partners.
Last week’s announcement that Fox International Productions head Sanford Panitch was departing for Sony sent shockwaves through the industry.
Panitch (pictured) is the undisputed king of the local language business and ruled over a thriving division that has reaped bountiful rewards since he launched it in 2008.
His new job in charge of international film and television at Sony starts on June 2. It signals a mandate to expand the studio’s global film platform by chairman of the motion picture group Tom Rothman, for whom Panitch worked in the Fox fold for many years.
For its part Fox shows no desire to abandon course. It is understood Stacey Snider and Jim Gianopulos are scouting for replacements and respected executive Michael Andreen, who enjoys strong ties with China, will oversee things in the interregnum.

Film noir. What is it? What are its defining characteristics? What films best express its qualities? Sex appeal, violence, cynicism, anti-heroes, femmes fatales, bleak commentary on modern society, maddening twists of fate that perpetuate one’s misery, running away from danger yet never making any ground…noir is and represents a wide variety of things, so much so that film experts do not even agree on whether it is a genre unto itself. (Two of the leading voices, James Ursini and Alain Silver, agree that it represents a movement rather than a definable genre.) For well over two years now, Sound on Sight has hosted the Friday Noir column which, on a near-weekly basis, has covered a great many noir entries of the commonly recognized classic period (1941 to 1959) as well as sizable portion of neo-noirs. Slowly and steadily, the column has explored the extremely exhaustive catalogue of titles with still many to come.

This article contains spoilers for the fourth season of Arrested Development.
It was always going to divide opinion. Let's face it, classic sitcoms aren't revived every day, and the build-up to Arrested Development's return from TV limbo fostered ridiculously high expectations. No showrunner could ever hope to please all of the fans, all of the time. Unsurprisingly, reviews have been mixed. Some praised the continuing audacity of Ad's plotting, the multi-layered references and the depth of the characterisation. Others criticised the immoderate length of some episodes, while lamenting the absence of several key cast members for long stretches.
Yet for all that, Arrested Development's fourth season was perhaps its most accomplished to date. Okay, some elements didn't quite work. Yes, the longer episode length proved to be problematic.

Terry O'Quinn as Gavin Doran in "666 Park Avenue" (ABC/Andrew Eccles)
ABC‘s slate of new shows for fall has a strange flavor to it, and it’s going to be a bumpy ride. The network has about as many new shows as returning ones (if you count all the midseasons), and a good percentage of the returning offerings are a year old or less, making this look a bit like a rebuilding year.
Not only is it a rebuilding year, but it’s the year of bringing back every actor and actress who ever had a decent run on a show before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a network’s new season slate that was so crammed with people returning from something else. If you can’t make it good, I suppose, make sure viewers recognize the faces.

The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the third one announced. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on ABC.
An odd year for the once mighty juggernaut which can still pack 'em in. It had surprise success stories with "Once Upon a Time" and "Revenge", the latter becoming an unexpected international hit, and several shows have gotten renewals despite more modest numbers. Still, with it battling with NBC for the third and fourth position overall, the network has to introduce ten shows over the course of the season in the hope of getting a few stickers.
Several other pilots didn't make the final cut and won't be seen include the fashion label dynasty soap "Americana", ABC's update of the 90's "Beauty and the Beast" TV series, the Roland Emmerich-produced thriller "Dark Horse", the...

The Parents Television Council has been quick to pounce on any number of series or personalities it considers unsafe for the public airwaves, but today’s letter to advertisers of NBC’s America’s Got Talent takes the step of condemning a show that hasn’t had a chance to offend anyone yet. In its missive, the PTC for a second time rips the network for bringing on Howard Stern as a judge on the show in the family-friendly 8 Pm time slot. Of course, Talent doesn’t premiere until May 14, but no sense in waiting — let’s just assume Stern is going to provide “a sharp increase in explicit content”. From the letter: “There can be, and there must be, a presumption that Mr. Stern will only continue to conduct himself in precisely the same manner as he has done for decades. Unless and until his conduct consistently reflects and respects the time,...
