Is it hot in here, or is it just us?
Early Friday morning, Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik released the highly-anticipated music video for their Fifty Shades Darker collaboration, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” — and things sure got hot and heavy.
From Swift, 27, lounging in a silk robe and lingerie to 24-year-old Malik serving some smoldering looks, it seems as if the romance drama Fifty Shades Darker may have a bit of competition.
Here are the four steamiest moments from the new music video:

Forrest MacNeil is the worst kind of faux-perpetual motion machine. He may run forever, he may in fact be incapable of ceasing to pursue his destructive path, but he needs an incredible amount of fuel to keep going, and his fuel of choice is suffering. ‘Buried Alive, 6 Star Review, Public Speaking’ takes Review‘s arbitrary structure and core of self-deceit and stretches it as far as it can go before it starts to scream. Then, naturally, it keeps going. Other shows might stagnate in the place of extremity to which Review has pushed itself, but week after week Andy Daly and co find a way to plumb new and awful depths in what is essentially a video log of one man’s protracted dissolution into sparking wreckage.

How are she and Dillon honoring their engagement? With some surprisingly sexy pics! Although it is well documented that Amy doesn't follow her cousins' beliefs, these pics will cause some eyes to widen. In Paul W.S. Anderson's new historical disaster epic, "Pompeii," Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays Atticus, an African gladiator who needs one more victory in the Roman arena to obtain his freedom. To win that, he must face Milo (Kit Harington), a captured Celt and formidable fighter who thirsts for vengeance against the Romans who murdered his people. The relationship between Atticus and Milo, against the looming catastrophe of the erupting Mount Vesuvius, evolves from enemies to comrades to heroes, an arc that Akinnuoye-Agbaje handles elegantly.
Since launching his acting career in 1994, the London-born Akinnuoye-Agbaje has piled up a steady stream of credits that include films like "The Mummy Returns," "The Bourne Identity," "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and more recently, "Thor: The Dark World." But the actor may be best known to American audiences for two TV roles: as Simon Adebisi for three years on the HBO prison drama "Oz" and as Mr.

Rolling around in nostalgia and big hairy machismo, Sylvester Stallone's Expendables movies have been making a mint for Millennium Films. So, the crafty production company that has brought us such outlandish fare as Olympus Has Fallen and The Paperboy began to plan a way to capitalize on this franchise beyond the Expendables sequels. How about a spin-off with ass-kicking women? Call it The ExpendaBelles, because why the hell not? So far, I've enjoyed The Expendables movies for all their earnest nostalgia, over-the-top mayhem and bonkers bromancing. But I've been eager to see how this spin-off would develop with action heroines are on the rise and a wide history of killer leading ladies to pull from. That was until today, when the studio set all my hopes for a promising action picture on fire. In case you missed it, Millennium Films has offered a one-two gut punch to those of...

Miley Cyrus’ choice to once again ditch her clothes for the ‘Adore You’ video wasn’t a smart one. There’s nothing wrong with being naked and sexual, but as a true fan of Miley and of the beautiful song, I would have loved to see a more sensitive, real side of the singer.
We get the picture. Miley Cyrus doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana anymore. But when does that reason run out? We’ve seen her twerk, get super friendly with a foam finger and now get super friendly with herself in bed in the video for “Adore You.”
Miley Cyrus: ‘Adore You’ Video Should Have Been Different
Sure, being naked gets people’s attention — but so does good music. I’ll admit that I’m a huge fan of Miley’s Bangerz album. It’s different, fresh and extremely entertaining.

Miley Cyrus’ music video for her new single “Adore You” leaked online on Wednesday, Christmas Day, before she released the official version on YouTube Thursday
Miley Cyrus 'Adore You' Video Leaked
As with her last video for "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus opts for less rather than more clothing. Rolling around in white sheets, the singer wears just a sheer bra and panties, while groping herself and biting both the bedding and her arm in between lyrics. Some shots appear to be filmed by Cyrus through a hand held camera.
Oddly enough, Cyrus is more clothed in the video during the bathrub scenes, where she dons a long-sleeved lace number that comes to her mid-thigh.

Upon the “Adore You” video leak, Cyrus took to Twitter to vent her frustrations – and to direct her followers to the authentic music video.

Miley’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance is one for the books already, with a hilarious opening skit, reliving her controversy at the VMAs. Then naturally her opening monologue was interrupted by cast member – Bobby Moynihan – swinging by naked on a wrecking ball!
Will Miley Cyrus be responsible for the end of life in America as we know it? Yes, according to the opening sketch on SNL. Though it may not have been as racy as her sex tape skit later in the show, the ‘Shutdown’ of the American government played a part But it was Miley’s raunchy twerking performance at the VMAs that really wrought destruction to the U.S. and also brought an end for good to something almost as calamitous- Miley’s alter ego- Hannah Montana! After 50 years as the Observer's film critic, Philip French is retiring. Here he talks about his life and career and answers questions from readers and film-makers including Mike Leigh and Ken Loach
It says a lot about Philip French that after 50 years as the Observer's film critic – five decades in which he has watched more than 2,500 movies, written six books on the subject and received an OBE for his services to film – he is nervous enough about this interview to have researched his answers in advance.
When I arrive at his house in Tufnell Park, north London, I find French poring over a thick reference book at the kitchen table. A cup of coffee is left to cool as he thumbs through the relevant footnotes, anxious to get the facts absolutely right. He will turn 80 in a couple of weeks and says that he occasionally struggles to remember names of directors or actors.

I’ll be honest and say that I’m a man who generally hates surprises. Surprise parties, surprise dates, surprise pregnancies, I’m not a fan of any of them. That being said, Mars: War Logs was not only a surprise, but a pretty pleasant one. It won’t make any Game of the Year lists, and it certainly won’t change the landscape of video games, but for a mostly under the radar downloadable title, it certainly stands out more than it looks like it should.
First off, no, this game is not about martian beavers stuck in a monumental turf wars. The title War Logs refers to the diaries kept by characters within the game, but come on, how many other words are there for “logs” that would have worked infinitely better?

Our universe is always expanding. There are millions of things on this planet alone that we don't understand and can't explain. Yet, at the same time, we demand that the movies we watch, we demand that everything we see has a reason for being there. Director Quentin Dupieux, however, had a different goal when he wrote and directed Rubber. He has made a film entirely devoid of reason. Apple has posted the first trailer for Dupieux's film, which centers on a tire named Robert who wakes up in the middle of the desert and discovers that he has psychic powers. Rolling around the country side, Robert decides to blow up anything he feels like blowing up, with the police right on his tail. The film stars Stephen Spinella, Roxane Mesquida, Jack Plotnick, and Wings Hauser and will be available On Demand February 25 and will get a limited release on April...

Modern Times Written and Directed by: Charlie Chaplin Starring: Charlie Chaplin, Paulette Goddard, Henry Bergman I'm sort of at a loss for what I could possibly add to the 74 year conversation on Modern Times that has preceded the release of this Criterion Collection blu ray. It's certainly a classic and has been studied and written about by people way sharper than myself. As expected with most Criterion releases, this edition of the film comes packed with a fair number of supplemental materials, so perhaps I can focus on how this release might have enhanced my enjoyment and perception of Charlie Chaplin's hilarious and timeless comedy. The interesting thing about Modern Times is it requires very little internal calibration in order to be fully enjoyed. What I mean is I find that most comedies of the first half of the 20th century require a slight adjustment for tone, style, and...

About two years ago I started watching Charlie Chaplin films for the first time. I watched City Lights, The Great Dictator, The Kid, The Gold Rush and, of course, Modern Times. I didn't instantly take to his style of comedy or commentary, not the same as I instantly fell in love with Buster Keaton's work in The General, but as I watched each film my appreciation began to grow.
With only a few films under my belt when it comes to Chaplin and Keaton, I would probably still place myself more in Keaton's camp than Chaplin's. But with the thought of Criterion potentially adding the rest of Chaplin's classic features to their collection, and if the Blu-ray releases are as spectacular as their treatment of Modern Times, that won't stop me from wanting more, more, more.

Chicago – There’s a scene early in “Modern Times” in which Charlie Chaplin’s timeless Little Tramp character has been so mentally and physically damaged by the routine he’s been forced to do over and over again on an assembly line that he can’t stop moving his arms in the same repetitive motion. As he tries to turn everything that looks like it can be turned with a wrench, the routine perfectly captures the genius of Chaplin in its duality. Not only is it a commentary on how men are being destroyed by the machine of industry but it’s damn funny at the same time.
DVD Rating: 5.0/5.0

Spike Jonze's vision of "The Suburbs" is at first a very familiar one with big open skies, endless subdivisions, fast food parking lots and enough fences and walls to shut out the rest of the world. Who needs the rest of the world when everything you want is right there? But Jones, inspired by The Arcade Fire's lyrics, has a dark view of the 'burbs. Trouble is bubbling up from under the manicured lawns of this police state.

Most ghosts in film and television are dickholes. Let's face it -- they have unfinished business which makes them rather unpleasant. Like that Poltergeist fuckstump? Rolling around with that evil clown puppet bastard, fucking up all our drinking by sending worm monsters into Coach, fucking with the television reception. Not a ball of laughs.
Yet, there have been a rare few ghosts that have crossed our screens that would probably be a hoot at a Halloween party. They like to drink, maybe cause a little trouble, but they seem like they'd be pretty fucking cool to have a glass of Ecto-Cooler and vodka punch. Here's my guest list for the party of the damned.
Phantom Dennis -- "Angel"
He's not much of a talker, but he'd make sure the trash got moved and the drinks were full. The moody poltergeist might even invite his roommate Charisma Carpenter along, but don't get too close,...

Wellington, Oct 20 – Rolling around in the dirt in a pristine white wedding dress may not be everyone’s idea of having fun, but it’s the latest craze these days.
Instead of leaving it in a corner after their weddings, women are instead opting to go out have a great time in some dirt and grime for some particularly memorable photos.
Blenheim photographer Jodie Keen started the trend with her own wedding dress which she planned to trash, three years after her wedding, by swimming in it at Rarangi or Whites Bay.
“I saw a clip on You Tube before I got married and I thought,.

There is a trend these days amongst some film goers, in which they actively avoid trailers, as well as any kind of plot spoilers regarding upcoming films. I won’t go so far as to say that this is a recent trend, but it has certainly appeared on my radar a lot over the past few years. People want to keep that magic of the surprise, when it comes to upcoming media. At the same time, there is an abundance of information about everything media related thanks to the internet.
One aspect of the Criterion Collection that we all have come to accept, and learn to love in a holiday package opening sense, is their secrecy regarding upcoming releases. We have joked about how they are almost at Apple-like levels of secrecy, and when something gets out, Criterion fans jump on it.
I think we all want to know what...

Stepping out to run the day's errands, Mischa Barton was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (June 24),
Rolling around town in notorious classic Cadillac, the former "Oc" star looked a bit disheveled as she hit up Coffe Bean and Tea Leaf before taking a seat on teh sidewalk and checking herself out in a local shop window sill.
As for her career, Miss Barton is gearing up to try her luck on another project - as she'll star alongside Jennie Garth and Matt Dallas in "The Science of Cool".
Directed by William Zabka, the comedy flick is about "a high school science experiment gone unexpectedly wrong as school nerds change their lives beyond their wildest dreams."...

1. The History of Roller Movies Goes Way Beyond “Whip It”
From James Caan skating for his life in “Rollerball” to Raquel Welch doing similar knock ‘em down duties in “Kansas City Bomber,” movies about people on eight wheels have a rich and varied history. Charlie Chaplin got his skates on not only in “Modern Times” but also 20 years earlier in “The Rink” while Missy Piggy took out a mugger on borrowed wheels in “Muppets Take Manhattan.” And there are many, many more.
