The original negative of this movie was destroyed in a fire in June 1918. Herbert Brenon re-shot the whole movie in a span of four months. The editing was completed shortly after the end of the war. Because of its subject, it was now considered of no interest by its producers. The movie was never screened in public, and all copies were destroyed in 1920.
