Chaotic but funny and watchable

This comedy appears quite dated and the acting is occasionally a bit stiff, especially that of Viola Lyel, but the overall impression is that a lot of fun was had by all when making the movie. The plot is ridiculous and tortuously complicated but well carried out by all. Given that this movie comes from the early days of talkies I find it quite innovative and I would recommend this to anyone who likes a laugh on a rainy day.

Unfunny comedy

This comedy stars, was written and co directed by Gene Gerrard so easy to guess who to blame for this awful comedy, based on a stage play. The plot is so silly so no point in giving a resume. There are a few interesting exteriors and a really delightful art deck set for the flat, but that's no reason to waste 72 minutes of your life.Only Claude Gilbert is familiar and he has a very silly moustache.
