RKO borrowed Jean Parker from MGM when Dorothy Jordan fell ill while shooting on location in Sonora and all of her scenes had to be re-shot.
This film did poorly at the box office, resulting in a loss of $158,000 ($2.93M in 2017) for RKO according to studio records.
The Broadway play, "Wild Birds" upon which this film is based opened at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce St., on April 9, 1925 and ran for 44 performances.
