Johnny Nelson : Well, I kinda figured she would be.
Hop-Along Cassidy : [Windy steps towards the door] Where you goin'?
Windy : Aw, no wonder they call me an old windbag, all that talk I done about knowing you.
Hop-Along Cassidy : [laughter] Forget about it! How about ridin' back to the Bar-20 with us?
Windy : Son, I'm with ya till she blows up!
Hop-Along Cassidy : Let's go!
-
Jim Arnold : Well, we don' t even know who this Nevada is.
Hop-Along Cassidy : Why don't we go in there and smoke him out with .45's?
-
Jim Arnold : Bill, if you could just locate those skunks.
Hop-Along Cassidy : I got a powerful keen nose, Jim.

Nevada - George Perdue : [Nevada is introduced to Hoppy, undercover as gambler Tex Riley] I understand you play poker, Mr. Riley?
Hop-Along Cassidy : So I've been told.
Nevada - George Perdue : I find chess more to my liking. Are you familiar with the game?
Hop-Along Cassidy : [glancing at the chess set on Nevada's desk] Don't look lively enough for me.
Nevada - George Perdue : The great Napoleon knew most of its principles and used them in his campaigns.
Hop-Along Cassidy : I reckon I better stick to a game I know, Mr...
Nevada - George Perdue : They usually call me "Boss." It does very well. What brought you here?
Hop-Along Cassidy : Good luck.
-
Hop-Along Cassidy : I'll be on my way first thing in the morning, if someone will show me the way out of these durn buttes.
Nevada - George Perdue : Friends waiting?
Hop-Along Cassidy : No, no friends. Just a man I've got a little score to settle with.
Nevada - George Perdue : Who might that be?
Hop-Along Cassidy : Nelson's his name. He's up here from the Bar-20 to get married.
Nevada - George Perdue : I see. Nelson.
Hop-Along Cassidy : Yeah, he accused me of cheatin' him up in Eagle. He got his Bar-20 friends together, cleaned out my layout, burned down the saloon, and drove me out of town. I swore I'd get even with him if it took me ten years. And when I heard he was up here, I come a'runnin'.
Nevada - George Perdue : [rolling a pawn between his fingers] I have an idea, Mr. Riley, that you might be of great assistance to me.
